But Hugh knew Jackson’s legs were a real weapon, and in the season opener, Arnold proved him right in a big way.

On top of that, Auburn’s running backs showed toughness, grinding out the hard yards when short-yardage was supposed to be a concern. Even after the win, Hugh isn’t satisfied—saying the Tigers looked “sluggish” at times and can still play faster. Big relief, big confidence boost, and plenty of room to grow.
