Auburn has a lot of work to do when it comes to rebuilding the pass rush for 2026. The Tigers are losing a massive chunk of proven production up front, and while the cupboard isn’t bare in terms of raw talent, there just isn’t much returning experience when it comes to guys who’ve done it consistently on Saturdays. That’s the big question: how do you replicate the pressure, the disruption, the big moments we saw last season when so much of that production is gone?

The good news is Auburn has options — a deep group of players with upside who could take a leap — but somebody has to become “the guy.” This is where an unsung name could emerge as a breakout contributor, the type of player who’s been developing behind the scenes and is ready for a bigger role.

And don’t overlook the freshmen. Auburn has recruited athletes with real edge traits, and it’s not crazy to think one or two young players could step in early as situational rushers, especially in today’s college football where rotations are constant and talent plays fast.
