Auburn’s final fall scrimmage before turning the page to Baylor is absolutely massive. After this weekend, the staff starts installing the actual gameplan — and for a lot of players, this is the last chance to prove they belong in the rotation.

The running back room needs someone to step up and take control of that No. 1 spot. Nobody has separated yet… and this scrimmage could decide it. On the flip side, the defensive back group has the exact opposite problem — EVERYONE is making plays. How do you even decide who plays?

And don’t forget about Perry Thompson. He’s worked his way into the rotation mix, but now it’s time to put a stamp on fall camp and show he belongs on the field Week 1.
