Jon Sherman (@practicalgolf) shares his knowledge and experience when it comes to tournament golf. Jon played college golf at NYU, but did not start to play tournaments regularly until later in life. Jon is the owner of Practical Golf, a website that is dedicated to helping the everyday golfer. Along with this, Jon has written multiple books, including the Four Foundations of Golf and 101 Mistakes All Golfers Make. Today, Jon regularly competes in amateur tournaments in the New York metro area.

In this episode, Mike Carroll (@Fit_For_Golf) goes into depth about physical training for golf. Mike played golf his entire life, but stopped playing while attending college. Mike played Gaelic football in college and studied Sports & Exercise Science at the University of Limerick from 2010-2014 and began working as a personal trainer in 2011. In 2014, Mike traveled to the UK and got his TPI level 1 certification, and shortly after this created Fit For Golf. In 2016, Mike saw a job posting for a golf trainer in Orange County, California and eventually took the leap and moved. During the pandemic, the Fit For Golf app gained lots of popularity and Mike was able to go full time into it. Ryan Mouque (@ryanmouquegolf) is a former top-tier rugby league player from New Zealand turned golf instructor. Ryan teaches several high-level professional players, but also works with players of all skill levels. In this episode, James Clark (@jamesclarkgt) walks through his golf career which included success at every level. James won his first ever AJGA start and continued a stellar career which included Rolex Junior All-American honors and a runner-up finish at the National Big I Invitational. During college golf at Georgia Tech, James climbed as high as 112 in the Golfstat individual rankings and recorded a career high finish of 3rd at the Clemson Invitational. James played professional golf for three years and had multiple wins on the Rolling Red Tour. Currently, James lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cory Kaufman (@thegolfacademypr) talks about his golf career, where he has worked virtually every job in the industry. Cory played golf at Bellarmine University where he was a four time all-conference award winner. After this, Cory quit competitive golf for a couple of years before picking it back up again and playing well for several years on the mini tours. Now, Cory owns The Golf Academy at Persimmon Ridge and is a full time golf instructor, teaching players at all levels – from the junior level all the way to PGA Tour.

Daniel DeLuca (@coach_delucagolf) talks about his experiences as a college golfer, a college coach, and a swing instructor. Daniel played at Eastern Kentucky University where he went on to become an assistant coach. After this, Daniel became an assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin University and then an assistant coach at Army, before getting his first head coaching job at Murray State. Joe Muschong (@joe_muschong) talks about his progression from a junior golfer to a high school and Division 1 college golfer. Joe is a natural athlete who grew up playing baseball, something that has helped him become an elite driver of the golf ball. Joe is a professional golfer who played college golf at Morehead State. Joe was on the fence about playing college golf, but a few last minute roster shifts convinced him to. Joe came in and qualified for their first tournament, and did not miss a tournament during his 5 years there. Joe capped off his time at Morehead State by winning the 2022 OVC Championship.

Charlie Harrison (@harrisoncmac) talks about how he went from playing his first tournament in 7th grade to playing for Wake Forest. Tim Stewart (@TimStewartgolf) is a professional golfer on PGA Tour Latinoamérica. Tim has been a professional golfer for over 14 years and has played on multiple tours including the Asian tour, the European Challenge Tour, PGA Tour Australasia, and PGA Tour Latinoamérica.
