It was the year of Brexit and Trump, the year that the "Establishment" takes it in the gut. It was the year of humbling, for everybody except for Trump.  It was the year that God's sovereignty became more obvious.   It was the year of terrorism, nationalist fervor, assisted suicide, transgendered bathrooms, and evangelical mommy bloggers turned Lesbians.  Immorality increased, tyranny flatlined briefly, and God defends His people.
