A few other organizations do this, but its behind a paywall and they don't track as much as we do. We also have a weekly newsletter of the bills, some good/positive bills, and some action items (i.e. protests, bill hearings, etc.). We share out our content in Daily Threads on all social media platforms.”“At Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN), we are movement builders. Our sole purpose for existing is trans liberation. About the Guest
Sabrina Lindaman was a 43-year-old trans woman who grew up in rural Iowa and southern Missouri. Knowing she was transgender from a young age without having the vocabulary to name it, she navigated isolation, bullying, and a lack of early representation before finding online communities in the early 2000s. After turning to therapy and discovering Embrace—a local support group where she connected with peers like Torin and Athena—Sabrina began HRT and stepped fully into her authentic life as Sabrina. She passed away on December 24, 2025, leaving behind a lasting impact on her community and everyone who knew her.

AIKO FINESSE Herbert, a South Carolinian has been captivating audiences since the tender age of twelve. Born August 1, 1987, Aiko did not feel as though he fit in with other kids. He was often teased and bullied on his appearance and the darkness of his skin. All the topsy-turvy emotions sent Aiko to an uncomfortable place as he began to suffer from headaches that soon led to anger issues. Worried about how the peer pressure was affecting Aiko, his family decided to place him in therapy sessions several times a week. During his 4th grade year, his school guidance counselor gave him a suggestion…, " When you begin to feel angry, upset, or sad, I want you to write your feelings on a piece of paper and once you have written down all of the things that anger you, throw the note paper away." Instead, Aiko kept every single one of those “anger notes” that he'd written and began to use them to make his way out of that dark place. Those thoughts were soon channeled into the lyrical phenomenon that he is today… A fortunate gift uprooted by unfortunate circumstances. Aiko’s lyrics tell the story of an unhappy child who grew to be a troubled teen that later became a well sought after disc jockey. Words of life is revealed through personal events, poetry, spoken words and music. Having lived in Arkansas on and off for 27 years, and in 27 years, she has never been made to feel uncomfortable at any kind of function regarding the queer community, but, she tells us, “I have been made to feel uncomfortable in public spaces by cis-gendered people who think they know what’s better for me than I do myself.” Alura tells us that she knows nothing but a loving community that is all about supporting and uplifting others, specially trans and queer youth. Her goal in her career, and life, is to show people that there is more than one way to live. She strives to enrich, educate, and support not only trans youth, but anyone who struggles with gender identity and sexuality.
