A long dusted over trail at the break of sunlight. A man child with an overgrown imagination walks. It's not often you find a man who has it all. Tall, handsome, intelligent, capable of catching a 30 inch pike with nothing but his bare feet and an empty bag of chips. Mitchell Young has it all and more. Mitch is a fantastic young man who spends his days connecting with nature and studying law books like his life depends on it. In the coming months he will be finishing his Juris Doctor degree and prepping for the infamous BAR exam. He is a great guy with the world at his fingertips. His future will be studded with success, he is more suave than Tom Cruise in "A Few Good Men" and I if my instincts are correct, he will most certainly find himself in the national spotlight representing a client in the case of the century. For now though, he remains humble and interesting to talk to. He is a great friend and an amazing person.

Joshua Kaminski is a young man at the crossroads of life. He is a musician, historian, friend, and a father to a beautiful, healthy cactus named Steve. Josh spends his days working for the DNR/ Michigan History Center Heritage Trail Program and nights writing original music. He is a great human being who is loved by many and is impossible to not like once you meet him. It is with great pleasure that Josh was welcomed back as our second return guest!

Today I welcome our first return guest! Bob Manion. In a world of busy and distracted people Bob shines with an extraterrestrial-like focus. He is an avid hobbyist and thoughtful fellow whom I find quite endearing. Bob is perusing a Masters degree in geology and has a Bachelors in physics hanging out in his back pocket. His perspective is of one who views science more as a sacred art, rather than a profession. Objectivism (if that’s a word) guides his philosophies and although occasionally, he and I find ourselves at the crossroads of misunderstanding, we usually are able to break out a map and work our way through it. Josh is a wonderful, unique and passionate man. We came to be friends way back in high school where we found we had two things in common. Our hatred for football practice and our love of classic rock n’ roll music. Josh has a bachelors in history from Northern Michigan University and has just completed his Masters in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University. With an ever-expanding depth of historical knowledge, he is a very interesting person to share an evening with. Josh is also an experienced guitarist and bassist who has a powerful sense of soul in his playing. All said, I have no trouble stating that he is unlike any other 25 year old alive today.

What is there really to say about Bob Manion? Just kidding, there’s a lot. Bob is a very unique guy with a lot going for him. He has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Geology from Wayne State University in Detroit. At a quarter of a century old this brazen young man dabbles in a plethora of hobbies and is destined to achieve wild amounts of success. Bob is a drummer, a friend, and an all around great guy.
