And tomorrow it will be a little warmer with a daytime high temperature of 64. Then, by Wednesday, rain is expected to move into the area. A Pasco man died over the weekend when he crashed his pickup Saturday into a semi truck at the Interstate 84 and Highway 395 interchange south of the Tri-Cities near Stanfield, Oregon.

The low was expected to fall to 28 degrees, matching the low on Wednesday night recorded at the Pasco airport. But it didn’t break the cold record for the date, according to the weather service. The low for October 9th in the Tri-Cities was 24 degrees set in 1921.
