  • The Declaration Of Bryan Edelman In Support Of Bryan Kohberger (Part 8) (8/28/25)
Dr. Bryan Edelman is a trial consultant and expert on pre-trial publicity who was involved in the Bryan Kohberger trial. Edelman was hired by Kohberger's defense team to conduct a phone survey of potential jurors in Latah County, Idaho. The purpose of the survey was to assess the impact of media coverage on public opinion about the case, which involves Kohberger being charged with the murder of four University of Idaho students.

The survey, which contacted 400 residents, faced significant criticism from the prosecution. They argued that the questions were too specific and potentially spread false information, thereby contaminating the jury pool. Some questions included details not found in official affidavits, leading to concerns that the survey was prejudicing potential jurors against Kohberger.

Edelman defended his work, stating that his aim was to measure the influence of media coverage on public opinion, regardless of whether the information was true or false. He emphasized that such surveys are standard practice in high-profile cases to determine whether a fair trial can be conducted in the current venue or if a change of venue is necessary.

The controversy surrounding the survey led the judge to pause its continuation and to schedule further hearings to decide on the matter.

In this episode we take a look at his declaration filed with the court.

  • What The Narco Files Tell Us About The Presence Of The Sinaloa Cartel And CJNG In Colombia (8/28/25)
Mexican authorities have raised alarms over the increasing recruitment of ex-Colombian soldiers by both the Sinaloa Cartel and Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG). At least nine former Colombian military personnel were arrested for their involvement in a deadly antipersonnel mine attack in Michoacán, with additional cases involving participation in drone bomb assaults. This marks a troubling militarization of cartel operations, as these cartels tap into Colombia’s pool of combat-trained recruits to enhance their firepower and operational capabilities. Mexican officials have responded by denying entry to dozens of Colombians, even as diplomatic concerns grow amid ongoing cooperation efforts between the two countries.

Additionally, investigative reporting reveals that ex-Colombian soldiers are being recruited as mercenaries in states like Michoacán, Jalisco, and Guanajuato—often with logistical support disguised as tourism. These combat-hardened individuals are employed by CJNG and allied groups (e.g., Los Viagras) to conduct sophisticated operations including managing drones, handling explosives, and deploying landmines. Their presence has notably intensified violence in areas like La Ruana, plunging communities into fear and instability. Authorities have pressed Colombia for increased cooperation, although responses remain limited so far.

  • Gregory "The Grim Reaper" Scarpa (8/28/25)
Gregory Scarpa, known as “The Grim Reaper,” was a feared capo in the Colombo crime family and one of the most violent figures in the American Mafia. Rising to prominence in Brooklyn during the 1950s, Scarpa became infamous for his ruthless efficiency as a hitman—credited with dozens, if not hundreds, of murders. He ran rackets involving extortion, loan sharking, gambling, and narcotics, while maintaining a reputation as a stylish and brazen enforcer. His willingness to use extreme violence made him indispensable during the Colombo family’s bloody internal wars, where he played a decisive role in eliminating rivals and consolidating power for his faction.

Scarpa’s criminal empire, however, was shadowed by his double life as a longtime FBI informant. Beginning in the early 1960s, he secretly collaborated with federal agents, reportedly even participating in the search for missing civil rights workers in Mississippi during the “Mississippi Burning” case. His relationship with the Bureau deepened in the 1980s under FBI agent Lindley DeVecchio, a partnership that sparked controversy amid claims the FBI allowed Scarpa to operate with impunity in exchange for intelligence. In 1986, he contracted HIV through a tainted blood transfusion, and by the early 1990s, he was terminally ill. Scarpa pleaded guilty to multiple murders in 1993 and died in prison in 1994 from AIDS-related complications—leaving behind a legacy as both one of the Mafia’s deadliest killers and one of the FBI’s most compromised informants.

  • How A Record Label In California Was Used To Launder Cartel Cash (8/28/25)
In May 2024, two prominent record executives from California were arrested for their involvement in a large-scale money laundering operation linked to a Mexican drug cartel. The executives were accused of using their music industry businesses to conceal and launder drug money, making it appear as legitimate revenue from their record label operations.

Authorities uncovered the scheme through a combination of financial audits, undercover operations, and collaboration with Mexican law enforcement. The investigation revealed that the executives facilitated the movement of millions of dollars by falsifying financial records and routing the funds through various shell companies and accounts.

The arrests highlighted the intersection of the entertainment industry and organized crime, drawing attention to the sophisticated methods used by cartels to infiltrate legitimate businesses and obscure the origins of their illicit profits. The case is expected to have significant legal and financial ramifications for the music industry and those involved.

  • The Fall Guy Strategy: How DOJ Buried the Truth About Jeffrey Epstein's Sweetheart Deal (Part 2) (8/28/25)
The official story has always painted Alex Acosta as the man solely responsible for Jeffrey Epstein’s non-prosecution agreement, but that version is designed to mislead. Acosta was a mid-level figure, a convenient scapegoat set up to absorb public outrage while the real decisions were made in Washington. Attorney General Michael Mukasey, Deputy Attorney General Mark Filip, and other senior DOJ brass were the ones who met with Epstein’s powerful legal team, signed off on the immunity clause, and ensured the deal protected not only Epstein but his co-conspirators. Acosta merely carried out orders that had already been determined above him, and when the truth started to unravel, he was offered up as the fall guy to shield the institution.

The failure to subpoena everyone involved—from state prosecutors to Main Justice leadership—reveals that Congress is more interested in theater than accountability. By focusing blame on Acosta, the system preserved itself, kept survivors from the truth, and avoided admitting the uncomfortable reality that DOJ itself bent the law to protect a billionaire predator. True justice requires putting every official who touched the deal under oath, including Mukasey and Filip, to expose how the NPA was engineered. Until that happens, the scandal remains unresolved and the cover-up intact, with Acosta remembered not as the architect of Epstein’s freedom, but as the shield sacrificed to keep the powerful safe.

  • Prince Andrew Prepares For A Brand New Epstein Storm To Come Rolling In (8/28/25)
A memoir titled Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, written by Virginia Roberts Giuffre with journalist Amy Wallace, is scheduled for posthumous release on October 21, 2025, from Alfred A. Knopf (with Penguin Random House involved in audio and ebook editions). The 400‑page manuscript was completed prior to Giuffre’s death by suicide in April 2025, and she had conveyed—via an email to Wallace dated April 1—that it was her “heartfelt wish” for the book to be published regardless of the outcome. Publishers describe the memoir as an unsparing and powerful narrative of trafficking, abuse, and survival, rigorously fact-checked and legally vetted, aimed at spotlighting systemic failures in human trafficking enforcement and championing justice and awareness.

Of particular note, Nobody’s Girl includes “intimate, disturbing, and heartbreaking new details” about Giuffre’s experiences with Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and other high-profile individuals—including Britain's Prince Andrew. This marks her first public discussion of Andrew since their 2022 out-of-court settlement, which reportedly involved a multi-million‑dollar payment. In doing so, the memoir is expected to reignite scrutiny and media attention on the allegations Andrew has long denied, resurrecting his central role in a scandal many believed had faded from the headlines.

  • Diddy And The Suit Of Armor Made Of Power And Prestige (Part 2) (8/28/25)
Sean "Diddy" Combs is alleged to have used his powerful relationships and celebrity connections as a form of armor to perpetuate abuse while shielding himself from accountability. His network, which included influential figures in music, media, and business, reportedly enabled him to maintain control over victims by fostering an environment where speaking out was risky. These relationships not only boosted his public image but also helped suppress scandals and deflect legal scrutiny. His status as a powerful mogul allegedly created a culture of silence, protecting him from accusations for decades.

This influence allegedly allowed Combs to manipulate media narratives and steer legal outcomes in his favor, perpetuating the notion that he was untouchable. Victims of his alleged abuse reportedly felt trapped by his connections, fearing retaliation or being blacklisted from industries he dominated. By keeping his powerful allies close and his public persona polished, Diddy created a barrier that made it difficult for those harmed to come forward without facing significant personal and professional risks.
