  • Virginia Roberts Responds Ghislaine Maxwell's Motion For A Summary Judgement (Part 2) (8/12/25)
Virginia Giuffre’s response to Ghislaine Maxwell’s motion for summary judgment was a direct challenge to Maxwell’s attempt to dismiss the case without a trial. In her filing, Giuffre argued that Maxwell’s statements denying any wrongdoing were not only defamatory, but made with actual malice—because Maxwell knew they were false when she made them. Giuffre’s legal team submitted sworn testimony, supporting documentation, and detailed timelines to establish that Maxwell had played a central role in Epstein’s trafficking operation and that her denials were part of a broader effort to discredit and silence victims.

  • The Dickstein Family And Their Very Peculiar Past Time (8/12/25)
For over two decades, the New York couple Barbara and Richie Dickstein immersed themselves in an eerie and obsessive pursuit: becoming pen pals with some of America’s most notorious serial killers. Through carefully constructed letters, they reached out to more than 100 incarcerated murderers—including John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz, and Richard Ramirez. The couple pretended to share traits with the killers’ victims, hoping to build a deceptive bond that would unlock raw, disturbing details about the crimes and the criminals’ psychological depths

Their correspondence was extensive—over 30,000 letters exchanged—yielding vivid, sometimes confessional narratives about rape, torture, dismemberment, and other horrifying acts. While the Dicksteins claimed their goal was to penetrate the minds of these killers, their activities also sparked deep ethical questions. Were they driven by genuine psychological curiosity, reckless voyeurism, or something more sinister? Their unusual practice has since become a subject of true‑crime fascination and discomfort alike.

  • The DOJ Gets Smacked Down By Judge Englemayer As He Denies The Grand Jury Request (8/12/25)
In a scathing 31-page ruling, Judge Paul Engelmayer rebuffed the Trump administration’s push to unseal grand jury transcripts in the case against Ghislaine Maxwell, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s key enablers. He asserted that the DOJ’s argument—that the transcripts would shed “meaningful new information” about Epstein’s or Maxwell’s crimes—was "demonstrably false" and that anyone expecting revelatory disclosures would be left feeling “disappointed and misled.” The judge bluntly concluded there is "no ‘there’ there," noting the materials added nothing substantive beyond what was disclosed during Maxwell’s 2021 trial and civil proceedings.

Moreover, Engelmayer criticized the DOJ’s motion not merely for its emptiness but also for its apparent tactical intent, describing it as a "diversion" rather than a genuine transparency effort. He emphasized that releasing these transcripts could do real harm to the foundational secrecy of grand jury proceedings, which protect both the integrity of investigations and the reputations of uncharged individuals. With no victim testimony included—only summaries from two law enforcement officers—the request was deemed not only unnecessary but dangerous in precedent.

  • The DOJ Asks The Court To Unseal Epstein/Maxwell Grand Jury Exhibits As Well As Testimony (8/12/25)
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has formally asked federal judges to unseal the grand jury exhibits—not just the testimony transcripts—from the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The request, filed on August 8, 2025, specifies that any released materials should redact victim identities and sensitive personal information, while notifying individuals named in exhibits not previously admitted during Maxwell’s trial.   The DOJ has also requested that these materials remain sealed until after August 14 to allow time for notifications to relevant third parties.

The move follows mounting pressure from the public, victims, and lawmakers for greater transparency in the Epstein‑Maxwell cases. Victims and their attorneys remain divided: some support unsealing for accountability, while others worry about their safety, privacy, and potential political motivations behind the DOJ’s timing.   Maxwell’s legal team strongly opposes the unsealing, arguing that, unlike Epstein (who is deceased), Maxwell is alive and actively litigating her case. They warn that unsealing grand jury materials could intrude on her due process rights and jeopardize her ongoing appeals and any future retrial.

  • The Predator and His Protectors: Glenn Dubin And His Place Within Jeffrey Epstein's Orbit (Part 2) (8/12/25)
Glenn Dubin is a billionaire hedge fund manager and major figure in New York’s high society whose long, troubling relationship with Jeffrey Epstein went far beyond casual acquaintance. Even after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for sex crimes involving a minor, Dubin — along with his wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin — kept him close, inviting him into their home, allowing him to spend holidays like Thanksgiving with their children, and maintaining financial and social ties. This wasn’t ignorance; it was an active choice to normalize a convicted sex offender in one of Manhattan’s most influential households, effectively lending Epstein the legitimacy he needed to remain welcome in elite circles.

Dubin’s continued embrace of Epstein, despite years of mounting allegations and sworn victim testimony naming him as a participant in Epstein’s abuse, reveals a staggering moral blindness — or worse, a conscious decision to protect a friend whose crimes were well-documented. By keeping the door open for Epstein socially, professionally, and philanthropically, Dubin became part of the protective cocoon that allowed Epstein to survive and thrive after his conviction. In doing so, he not only damaged his own reputation beyond repair but also exemplified the elite complicity that kept Epstein’s network intact long after it should have collapsed.

And that's not even the worst of what Glenn Dubin has been accused of...

  • Diddy And The Bold Move To Rebrand Himself As 'Domestic Abuse Advocate' (8/12/25)
Sean “Diddy” Combs is now attempting to reframe his public image as that of a domestic abuse prevention advocate, presenting the shift as part of a broader redemption arc ahead of his sentencing. His legal team has outlined a plan for him to work with domestic violence programs, counsel abusers, and speak directly to youth about the consequences of such behavior. They are pitching this not just as personal growth but as a way for Combs to give back to the community, portraying him as a figure who can use his own mistakes as a cautionary example. This strategy is being positioned as evidence of rehabilitation in hopes of swaying the court toward a lighter sentence.

In prison, Combs has enrolled in therapy and self-improvement programs, including those designed to address sexual and domestic violence, alongside substance abuse treatment. But critics—especially those connected to his alleged victims—see the rebrand as nothing more than a calculated PR move. They argue that positioning himself as a counselor without first showing genuine accountability is manipulative and disingenuous, serving the optics of the courtroom rather than the needs of survivors.

  • The Brief Filed In Support Of Ghislaine Maxwell And A Summary Judgement (Part 5) (8/12/25)
In the defamation case Virginia Giuffre brought against Ghislaine Maxwell beginning in 2015, Maxwell responded with a motion for summary judgment—arguing that Giuffre’s allegations were not legally defamatory and that Maxwell was entitled to judgment as a matter of law. That motion aimed to avoid a trial by asserting that even if all of Giuffre’s allegations were true, they did not meet the legal threshold for defamation. The motion, along with supporting documents, was filed under seal during pre-trial proceedings. Ultimately, the district court did not grant the motion, and the case was later settled out of court under confidentiality terms in 2017.

When third parties later moved to unseal portions of the sealed record, particularly filings related to the summary judgment motion, the courts determined that these materials were judicial documents subject to a strong presumption of public access. A federal appeals court ordered their partial release because Maxwell had not shown sufficient reasons to overcome the public’s right of access. In other words, although Maxwell sought to dispose of the case quietly and legally via summary judgment—and shield that process from public view—those efforts were rejected, and important portions of the case were ultimately made part of the public record.
