  • Rolling Stone And Their Profile Of The Life And Crime Of Diddy (Part 2) (4/26/25)
In January 2025, Rolling Stone published an article by Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon titled "As Sean Combs’ ‘Love’ Era Began, New Accusers Say He Was Still a ‘Demon’." The piece examines Sean "Diddy" Combs' public rebranding as a changed man, contrasting it with recent allegations suggesting continued abusive behavior. Despite Combs' claims of personal growth following a 2016 incident where he was recorded assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, multiple sources allege that his abusive actions persisted well beyond this purported turning point.

The article details accounts from new accusers who describe experiences of manipulation, coercion, and violence at the hands of Combs. These allegations challenge the narrative of redemption that Combs has promoted, painting a picture of ongoing misconduct that contradicts his public persona during his "Love" era. The piece underscores the disparity between Combs' professed transformation and the troubling claims of those who have come forward, suggesting that his abusive behavior did not cease as he has asserted.

  • Murder In Moscow: Judge Hippler Makes Key Rulings On The 911 Call And Autism Defense (4/26/25)
On April 24, 2025, Judge Steven Hippler issued a ruling on the admissibility of key evidence in the trial of Bryan Kohberger, who is accused of the November 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students. The judge determined that the majority of the 911 call made by one of the surviving roommates could be presented to the jury, as it falls under exceptions to the hearsay rule, such as present sense impression and excited utterance. However, certain portions of the call, including statements made by an unidentified woman relaying secondhand information, were deemed inadmissible due to lack of firsthand knowledge and contemporaneity. Additionally, the judge allowed the use of a transcript of the 911 call as a demonstrative aid during the trial, provided it is properly authenticated and accompanied by appropriate jury instructions.

Regarding text messages exchanged between the two surviving roommates, D.M. and B.F., the court found that many of these messages are admissible under the same hearsay exceptions. These texts, sent in the early hours of November 13, 2022, include descriptions of a masked intruder and expressions of fear and confusion, which the court considered to be spontaneous reactions to a startling event. The judge emphasized that the admissibility of these messages is contingent upon the prosecution establishing the necessary foundation at trial. The defense had objected to the inclusion of these messages, arguing that they lacked context and could be misleading; however, the court concluded that, when properly contextualized, they are relevant and admissible.

  • Diddy Heads To Court For A Pivotal Hearing (4/26/25)
Sean "Diddy" Combs is scheduled to appear in Manhattan federal court today, April 25, 2025, for a pivotal pretrial hearing in his sex trafficking case. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to rule on whether psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes can testify as an expert witness. Prosecutors aim to have Dr. Hughes explain how victims of abuse may remain loyal to their abusers due to emotional manipulation or fear, countering the defense's claim that the alleged victims' continued association with Combs indicates consent. The defense argues that such testimony would unfairly bolster the credibility of the accusers.

Additionally, the hearing may address the admissibility of evidence from the docuseries "Fall of Diddy," which includes testimonies from a former employee and an ex-partner of Combs. The defense previously sought a two-month trial delay following the addition of two new charges, bringing the total to five, including racketeering and sex trafficking. However, Judge Subramanian denied the request, maintaining the trial schedule with jury selection set to begin on May 5 and opening statements on May 12.

  • The Declaration Of Lucian Grainge In Support Of UMG/Diddy (4/26/25)
In the context of a court filing, a declaration is a written statement made under oath or penalty of perjury by a person who has personal knowledge of the facts stated in the document. Declarations are commonly used in legal proceedings to present evidence or provide information relevant to a case.

They are typically submitted to the court by parties involved in the case or by witnesses, and they serve as a means of presenting facts or arguments to support or oppose various legal claims. Declarations are often used when a witness is unavailable to testify in person or when it is impractical for them to do so. They are subject to the same standards of truthfulness and accuracy as testimony given in court.

In this episode, we take a look at the declaration of facts filed by Lucian Grainge.

  • The Wannsee Conference (Part 5) (4/25/25)
The Wannsee Conference was a high-level meeting of Nazi officials held on January 20, 1942, at a villa in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee. Convened by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, the conference brought together senior representatives from various Nazi government ministries and agencies to coordinate the implementation of the so-called “Final Solution to the Jewish Question.” The goal was to streamline and organize the systematic extermination of Europe’s Jewish population. Though mass killings of Jews were already underway, this meeting formally unified the bureaucratic efforts behind the genocide, solidifying a state-sponsored plan for industrialized murder across occupied Europe.

At the conference, Heydrich outlined that approximately 11 million Jews across the continent—including those in neutral countries—were to be targeted. The officials present discussed logistical, legal, and administrative issues surrounding deportation, forced labor, and eventual extermination. Notably, the minutes of the meeting, known as the Wannsee Protocol, were couched in euphemisms but made clear the genocidal intent. The conference didn’t initiate the Holocaust but marked a turning point in its organization, revealing how genocide was transformed into an administrative, bureaucratic operation carried out with chilling efficiency.
