The good news is! I got to record it LIVE for all of you 😍.
I had a blast, so I hope you all enjoy(ed) this one.
We're going to talk about one of the things good parents frequently overlook that blocks them from having success in their relationship with their kids.
Why is it so hard for our kids to understand how we really feel about them?
The answer might surprise you and
it's harder than we think!

Teens get a bad rap sometimes.
Being a teen is hard.
I personally think teens are amazing, smart, brave, emotionally intelligent…
and yet, teen girls (and NB teens) can be so hard on their moms!⏪
Teens just seem to magnify the worst parts of us.
They show us what we don't want to look at.
And our kids know what makes us mad.
And we get mad.
Yeah. Moms are under a ton of stress.
So metimes we just want our kid to do the most basic thing, to move along with our day and
maybe you wonder,
Why do we have to fight about this?
It should be easier.
And then we find ourselves fighting about toilet paper and we are like,
What happened?
My guess is, you need a little help. We all do.
I give you real tools you need to connect better with your kid, starting right now.
Thanks for listening. We are glad you're here.

Have you ever felt like no matter how many times you try, you keep getting angry with your kids?
When we lash out at our incredible, amazing, kids, it feels AWFUL🥺.
Its easy to beat ourselves up and think I'm a bad mom.
Afterall, they are just trying to get their needs met…
… and we are overwhelmed.
It's no wonder we get upset when our kid texts us 15 times to tell us they are hungry (or hangry🙃) when you know the house is full of food!
(Full of food, haha at least for now)
But still!
You want to do better!
It's not OK with you to keep getting derailed and angry with your kids.
We white-knuckle it and try to try even harder as if we had anything left to give.
Does it feel like you have to apologize every day of your life?
I've got news for everyone.
I fall flat on my face too.
I apologize to my kid, a lot.
There is a better way.
It doesn't have to be a showdown at your house every school morning.
We have to stay calm and kind if we want our kids to listen to us.
I know how hard it is out there, y'all.
That's why I am sharing this deeply empathetic (cause I've been there) podcast about what to do with all that ANGER!
I promise not to simply ask you to stop being angry or not to give in!
Here is your permission to let go of the white-knuckling, forgive ourselves for past mistakes, and learn strategies that will help you get through at least this week with fewer outbursts and arguments with your kids.
You are amazing for having the courage to try again.
So Proud!

The sound on this audio got messed up. It will be better in future podcasts, I'm not certain it would be better if I re-recorded this. Tone matters. Love you guys!
If you have found yourself in way too many arguments with your teen lately, or you just want them to talk to you, we have something really simple (not easy per se, but hopefully not too hard :) that will help you have real conversations with them.
Summer is busy, it can feel like whole weeks have gone by and you've barely spoken to your teen. Maybe it has been a while since you felt connected...
Don't worry,
We've got you.
A better relationship with your teen is closer than you think.
This one simple tool is probably missing from your parenting strategy.
If you are missing this tool, it's not your fault. Your parents probably did not know how to use this either.
Even though you probably wanted to parent differently than your parents did, without the right tools, it's hard to do better.
Listen so you can connect with your teen.

Moms often reveal a theory that their lack of boundaries is at the core of their relationship problems.
"If only I just had... better boundaries, then everything would be different (better) with my teens."
If you have poor boundaries, please stop beating yourself up!!
There is a reason, and there are steps you can take to turn your boundaries around.
While I do have a parenting transformation program with a different framework (other than boundaries) about what is REALLY holding parents back from incredible relationships with their kids and teenagers, I also have valuable tools to share about how to have amazing boundaries that actually work in relationships.
I get why you might want better boundaries:
You want more order and less chaos in your home
You want to feel respected
You want your teen to make great decisions
Those reasons are all totally valid and important, which is why I am sharing this podcast to get you started on having the boundaries and relationship you want with your teenager!
