  • Steps to Zap the Need to Please

So many of us out there could stand to gain something from learning how to harness our need to please others. While it seems like a quality that could be beneficial for us or make us come across as helpful individuals, it’s also something that, when consistently placed over our own needs, is really detrimental to our wellbeing and could even stifle the growth of those around us in the long haul.

In today’s episode, I share a few tips for how I manage this, as well as advice for setting clear and concise boundaries with not only the people in my life but myself too. I also share a couple of the experiences my clients have dealt with in relation to this topic, how we can take control of our own situation, and why I believe our spiritual selves should be listened to when it comes to finding our own truth.

  • Listening To Learn

Having open conversations with those who we don’t always see eye to eye with is a skill we all must learn to master throughout our lives. Not only is this a vital step in communicating effectively, but it also enriches our hearts and allows us to see perspectives outside of our own without judgement.

In today’s episode, I’ll be talking you through a few approaches I’ve used in these situations that have taught me to create a safe environment for all parties involved and taught me how to hold space for others in my life. This is something I truly believe leads us all towards a more graceful existence and a more open way of living.
