Genesis does not ask, "where is the money?" Or even "where is the healing?" Isaac asked one question: "where is the lamb?" That question becomes the burden of the entire Bible. Every page moves history toward one answer - not the provision of things, but the provision of a person.

Whenever our greatest pursuit becomes something other than CHRiSt, we have begun asking a question scripture was never trying to answer.

In this Episode of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor presses further into what it means to say that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. The question now is not whether God saves, but how far that salvation goes. Does the Gospel merely begin something in the believer, or does it carry him all the way to God’s intended end? This teaching answers with clarity and force: the power of the Gospel is not shallow, partial, or momentary. It saves to the end.

This episode opens up the breadth of salvation in Scripture and shows that salvation is more than a single conversion moment, more than the forgiveness of sins alone, and more than an entry point into the faith. The Truth Simply Put with PAV

A lot of believers hear that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation and immediately reduce salvation to one moment, one altar call, one prayer prayed, or one experience of forgiveness. But the New Testament speaks of salvation with far more breadth than that. In this episode of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor opens up the scope of what Scripture means by salvation and shows that the Gospel does not merely get a man started with God; it carries the whole saving program of God into view.

This teaching shows that salvation includes the forgiveness of sins, yes, but it does not end there. It includes regeneration, present standing with God, ongoing realities in CHRiSt, preservation through this present age, and the hope of final glorification. In other words, the Gospel does not only bring a man to the door; it brings him in, keeps him, and carries him toward the fullness of what God has promised.

That is why Paul’s language is so weighty when he says the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. God’s power is not random and not purposeless. It is aimed at a definite end. The Gospel is God’s ability at work, not merely to pardon, but to save to the uttermost. It initiates new life, sustains the believer in present realities, and points him forward in hope until the day the promise is fully manifested.

The same Gospel that brings a man in is the Gospel that keeps carrying him forward. It is not exhausted at the point of entry. It is as broad as God’s purpose, as strong as God’s ability, and as certain as God’s promise.
