  • The Gospel Is the Power of God || The Truth Simply Put with PAV || S1 EP13

In Episode 13 of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor begins a focused look at the power of the Gospel by opening Romans 1:16 and pressing a vital question: what exactly did Paul mean when he said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of CHRiSt, for it is the power of God unto salvation”? This teaching shows that the Gospel is not mere religious information, emotional inspiration, or a message for a narrow class of visibly broken people. It is God’s message for all men, and it reveals the very measure of what God is able to do in CHRiSt.

This episode also opens up Paul’s language with greater weight. To say he was “not ashamed” of the Gospel was not simply to say he was bold enough to preach it. It was to say he had staked his full confidence, honour, and eternity on its truth. He was fully persuaded that the Gospel would vindicate everyone who trusted it because the Gospel is not fantasy, not speculation, and not religious hype. It is the active revelation of divine ability.

PAV shows that the Gospel is called the power of God because it is the declaration of what God is able to do. God’s power is not being measured here by spectacle, force, or outward wonder, but by salvation. That means to trivialize the Gospel is to trivialize the power of God, and to despise the Gospel is to despise the very ability of God revealed in His Son.

If you have ever reduced the Gospel to a basic Christian message for beginners, this episode will correct that quickly. The Gospel is not the shallow end of Christianity. It is the revelation of the power of God in CHRiSt, and it remains the heartbeat of all true ministry and all true faith.

  • The Gospel Is an Invitation to Believe || The Truth Simply Put with PAV | S1 EP12

How does a person actually enter into the reality of the Gospel? || The Truth Simply Put with PAV

In Episode 12 of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor brings the series to one of its most personal and pivotal questions. If God has acted in CHRiSt, if the work is finished, if forgiveness, justification, and new life have truly been secured in Him, then what is the proper human response? Scripture’s answer is striking in its simplicity: believe.

This episode shows that the Gospel is not only an announcement of what God has done through Jesus CHRiSt; it is also an invitation. Jesus does not call people first to religious performance, moral repair, or external adjustment. He calls them to Himself. “Come unto me,” He says. That means the response the Gospel demands is not labor, cleanup, qualification, or self-preparation. It is faith in the person and work of CHRiSt.

PAV opens up the beauty of this invitation by showing that salvation is not achieved through human effort. It is received by faith, and even that faith is supplied by God through the hearing of the Gospel. The sinner does not first fix himself and then come to Jesus. He comes to Jesus as he is and receives the life only CHRiSt can give.

This teaching also presses the urgency and universality of the call. The invitation of the Gospel is not reserved for a select class of moral achievers, religious insiders, or people with cleaner histories. It is for whoever believes. Rich or poor, upright or scandalous, publican or Pharisee, everyone needs the same Saviour, and the call remains open now.

In this episode, you will see:

that the Gospel is an invitation as well as an announcement,

that the call of Jesus is a call to Himself,

that faith is the proper response to the Gospel,

and that now is the day of salvation.

    This is clear truth.

    This is sound doctrine.

    This is CHRiSt revealed.

Watch, share, and send this to someone who still thinks they must first get their life together before they can come to Jesus.

  • Jesus Did Not Die to Improve Your Life || The Truth Simply Put with PAV || S1 EP11

Did Jesus come to make your life better? || The Truth Simply Put with PAV [As Broadcast on Radio]

In Episode 11 of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor confronts one of the most common but misleading ideas in modern preaching: that the Gospel is mainly about improvement. Scripture reveals something far more radical. Jesus did not die to polish the old man, upgrade fallen humanity, or touch up a broken life. He came to bring that old life to an end and give an entirely new one.

This episode unfolds the power of union with CHRiSt. Through faith, the believer is crucified with CHRiSt, raised with CHRiSt, and now lives because CHRiSt lives in him. That means salvation is not self-improvement. It is new creation. The life the believer now has is not an upgraded version of the former life. It is the very life of CHRiSt Himself.

PAV shows from Scripture that the Gospel does not repair humanity. It creates what never existed before. The believer is not merely behaving better or trying harder. The believer has died, has been raised with CHRiSt, and now lives from a new identity, a new reality, and a new life altogether.

This episode also presses the glorious corporate dimension of this reality: in CHRiSt, God is not merely saving isolated individuals. He is forming a new humanity, one new man, a reconciled people who now share the life of CHRiSt together.

In this episode, you will see:

that the Gospel is not about repairing the old life,

that CHRiSt is not merely in the believer’s life but is the believer’s life,

that the believer’s identity is now defined by union with CHRiSt,

and that salvation creates a new humanity, not just improved individuals.

  • What Happened to Jesus Happened to You || The Truth Simply Put with PAV | S1 EP10

In Episode 10 of The Truth Simply Put with PAV, Alexander Victor opens one of the most powerful realities in the Gospel: the Gospel is not only the story of what happened to Jesus; it is the story of what happened to everyone who is joined to Him. The believer does not merely admire the death, burial, and resurrection of CHRiSt from a distance. Through faith, the believer is brought into union with CHRiSt Himself.

This teaching shows that the Gospel is far more than the announcement that CHRiSt died for us. It is also the revelation that we died with Him, were buried with Him, were raised with Him, and now live because He lives in us. That is why the believer’s identity cannot be explained merely in moral, religious, or sentimental terms. The believer is now in CHRiSt, with CHRiSt, and through CHRiSt.

PAV unfolds from Scripture that Jesus did not die merely as an example of love or sacrifice, though His death certainly reveals both. He died as our representative. He took our place, brought the old man to judgment in His death, and made resurrection life the possession of everyone who believes. Union with CHRiSt means the old life has been judged, the new life has begun, and the life now being lived by the believer is no longer reducible to mere human effort.

This episode will help you see why the Gospel cannot stop at “Jesus died for me.” It must go on to the glorious reality that His death became my death, His resurrection became my new life, and His life now dwells in me. That is the heart of union with CHRiSt, and that is the beauty of the Gospel.
