The picture of Jesus walking away should be a picture emblazoned in our mind. We don’t want Jesus to walk away from us because we are stubborn and proud. We often talk about people walking away from God but here we have a picture of God walking away from his people. Both are equally bad. God desires to have a relationship with us. He doesn’t want us to walk away. He doesn’t want to walk away. He wants fellowship with us, intimacy with us, a relationship with us.
