Episode 24- The Day from Hell
Samantha steps out and does her first Solo episode.
"In any given moment we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety."
This quote has been one I write down almost everyday. I don't know if I heard it somewhere or if I made it up myself at this point. But it is one that I live by. I wrote this down the morning before I started recording my episode and it was such an amazing reminder of where I started and where I am now.
I want to start this episode off with a “Trigger Warning!”
This episode I talk about the weeks, days and hours leading up to the day I found my partner who took his life. So please take caution when listening. I share some intimate details and share very raw emotions. So I ask that you listen with an open mind, a compassionate heart and please leave your judgments at the door.
With that being said, I’m not going to lie going back to these emotions is no walk in the park. But I know that if sharing my life and my story from my perspective can help just one person. It’s worth it.
Suicide is such a strong word and topic. It is not one size fits all.
*There is one suicide death in the US every 11.5 seconds.
*Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24 year olds.
*There is one suicide death for every estimated 25 suicide attempts.
*In 2020 45,979 Americans died by suicide
My goal in talking about my story is to bring awareness to Suicide and to help educate more people about the topic. If your life hasn’t been touched by suicide yet, chances are you will at one time.
Thank you all for allowing me to use this platform to share with you all my heart and my passion to help others. You have no idea how your love and support has transformed my heart and my life’s purpose to help others. Because you have given support, love and kindness to me, I am now able to give the same to others.
Let’s all remember….
Healing is a journey, not a destination.
Thank you for being apart of my crazy amazing Soul TRIBE!

Society makes it feel like we need to always be in the season of hustle or we will have BIG time FOMO or miss out on that BIG break.. but just know that whatever season you are in, what's meant to be for you will be for you.

This LAST episode we talk about our different personality traits. How we feel birth order and events shape us and make us. We laugh about our good traits and are brutally honest about our "not so good" traits. Ha ha. This has been one amazing journey that we all call life. We truly hope to inspire you all to take some time with loved ones and go back through you experiences in life. The amount of gratitude you will have at the end will beyond surpass any of your expectations. I think we all learned a little grace goes a long way and sometimes we need to look outside our own perspective in situations to better understand others.
We feel like everyone should an auditory journal with their mothers. Even though we have heard most of their stories all ready, it was wonderful to reminisce and have the spotlight on them! It would be so amazing if we could go back and hear our great grandmother's stories..... This is something we have been looking forward to sharing with you all and generations for years to come.
