In the very first episode of the HolyFit Co. Podcast, Brad shares his raw and unfiltered story of redemption — a journey from brokenness, addiction, and loss to complete surrender to Jesus Christ.
Growing up in a good family with faithful Catholic grandparents, Brad learned about God early in life, but like many, he drifted. Through his teens and twenties, life became a blur of hard work, loud music, and even louder nights. He chased success, numbed pain, and called it control — until everything finally caught up with him.
About three or four years ago, Brad’s world collapsed. His marriage fell apart. Finances crumbled. His health suffered. The image of “having it all together” vanished overnight. That’s when he hit rock bottom — the “mud and mire” David wrote about in Psalm 40:2.
But that’s also when everything changed.
In total surrender, Brad gave it all over to Jesus — every failure, addiction, and ounce of pride. And in that moment of submission, God began the work of rescue and rebuilding.
“He lifted me out of the pit,” Brad says, “and set my feet on something solid again.”
That’s where HolyFit Co. was born — from the belief that endurance and discipline can build more than strength or speed; they can shape our hearts to look more like Christ.
Now, HolyFit Co. is a movement of believers — runners, parents, healthcare workers, and everyday people — who are learning to run the race of faith with endurance, purpose, and grace.
In this first episode, Brad opens up about the years that nearly broke him, the God who never left him, and the moment that changed everything. If you’ve ever felt stuck, ashamed, or like your life is too far gone, this episode is for you.
Because no matter how deep the pit, God still lifts.
