The Uncensored Catholic

In this episode, I explain that the Christian God is not nationalistic. He is not the God of a nation, a race, a place or a political ideology. Jesus is the personal Savior of each idnividual because each man and woman is created by God and loved by God. America is becoming a Godless nation... don't expect Him to be on our side.

In this episode, I discuss how the break down of the family, how reliance on technology and social isolation are affecting our lives and how the Church may combat this.... but often makes it worse.

In this episode, I discuss one of our Lord's most difficult teachings. No matter what is done to us, we must forgive. He does not require us to allow others to hurt us. But, Jesus, the embodiment of Love, says that if we do not forgive we will be punished by the Father. To forgive those who hurt us is a super-human act and can only be accomplished through Christ.

In this episode, I discuss how Protestants and neo-pagans are attacking my books due, in part, to my writing about Saint Hildegard and my Catholic perspective. Then I continue discussing the amazing Saint Hildegard von Bingen, Doctor of the Church, Theologian, mystic, musical composer, playwrite and likely the greatest herbalist ever.

In this episode, I discuss the nature of suffering. Jesus promised that all Christians who follow Him will suffer. Anyone who says it is easy to be a Christian is a liar. How can we understand and come to accept Christian suffering?

In this episode, I continue talking about the authority of Sacred Tradition that comes to us through the teaching authority of the Holy Apostles as ordered by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Not only is "the Bible Alone" of Sola Scriptura insufficient, it is un-Biblical.... and the Bible didn't exist in the early Church until it was written, compiled and published by the Catholic Church operating under the authority of Christ through the guarantee of the Holy Spirit. Saint Irenaeus made the primacy of Sacred Tradition very clear in refuting the Gnostics who were heretics who perverted the meaning of the gospels to suit their own false teaching.
