This wondrous ability to believe creates an unbreakable bond—that binds us to God and to each other. For this reason, we are called “the household of faith” or as one translation puts it, “the family of believers.” No matter what comes our way in life, “this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4)
