The Unfinished Basement Podcast

This week, the fellas quickly give thoughts on the Valorant closed beta, regarding it’s positives and shortcomings. We then dive into a discussion about Sci-Fi movie, specifically Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey,” and Ridley Scott’s, “Alien.” We kind of compare the two films and how influential they are, and question whether or not the ideas posed in those films are bleeding into reality.

The Fellas make their triumphant return amidst the COVID-19 crisis. This week a remote episode was tested out so that we can reboot the podcast and continue during the crisis.

The fellas start with our usual AskReddit segment but then spend the majority of the show discussing in detail the new Jaoquin Phoenix movie, “Joker,” and discuss the movie, “El Camino.”

This week, the fellas are joined by Skeet and we start off the show with the AskReddit segment, and move on to discuss the new AAA Video game, Cyberpunk 2077, proceed onward with some general talk on video games and a brief discussion of the premier league.

The boys make a return this week after a summertime hiatus. They return at large with a special intro featuring Thin Lizzy. This week we kept it short to get back in the groove by starting with our AskReddit segment, and moving on to discuss Premier League soccer, amongst other topics.

This week the fellas take the show to the backyard once again and take advantage of summer weather. We discuss Black Mirror, current problems and issues at the American Border and discuss what makes video games appealing with personal input.

This week the fellas open with our AskReddit section and keep the show light and breezy, while covering Game 3 of the Raptors vs. Warriors in the NBA finals.
