This week we bring forward a member of the KMAK Fitness team, she has been a PT but now she coaches online, this week I bring to you Seeta. 

We had this conversation last summer and we touched base on her story in regards to how she got into this field and the challenges she has faced with her mental health and explains why she chooses to continue to work with women in the Fitness industry. 

I did now know any of this before speaking to her and was taken back but appreciate her honesty and ability to get unfiltered with me and after the months in building a relationship I can 100% state she is approachable and kicking ass for her clients.

This week on Unfltered we go deep with my first poet and author on the podcast. This week I introduce Ishpreet Bhogal also known as Ishpreetwrites if you follow her on Instagram. She is the author of the book 'Recovery' which is beautifully articulated story about an experience she went through.

Reading this book I was taken back. I knew what the concept of it was about but didn't expect it to take me to a place where you reflect on some of the real experiences individuals go through behind closed doors. Recovery was written in regards to the loss of her mother to cancer and this is essentially her story in the form of poetry.

Talking about grief isn't easy and I am so thankful for Ishpreet for going deep and taking this one step further by digging into some of the finer details about this tough chapter in her life.

This week we touch base with the lovely Tanvi J around a topic we touched base on a while back on an Instagram Live. Tanvi and I share similar opinions and views on this 'conception' and 'perception' we give ourselves and that society showers over us based on our upbringings and today we get to explore that in a little detail.

This week I have a conversation with an ex client and fellow Jay Shetty Certified Coach Jade Le Huray about the filters we put on in society to fit in and how she has managed to shift out of her old habits to not caring about being accepted. 

Jade is a life coach and is also a make up artist and has been doing this for a number of years. It was really fascinating to finally speak to her about the transition between the two and discuss the art behind make up and the reasons to why people filter a perception of themselves to avoid negative judgment in our communities.

This week I bring forward an episode I recorded in 2021 with my online coach Kunal Makwana also known as KMAK fitness. We met over clubhouse and I was sold based on his personality and work ethic in regards to getting into the best shape of my life. 

We touch base on how he moulded his mind to live a life that brings him fulfilment rather than follow the typical Asian stereotype and continue to make this a real success. 

He's helped me significantly in my transformation and helped me get to 66kg and be fairly ripped and now we are on the next path of the journey where we are muscle building and getting stronger and I am forever thankful for his guidance.
