What does diversity mean to you? Inclusion? Belonging? In this episode of The UNFLTRD Podcast, I chat with Jess Gosling, Diversity, Equality & Inclusion champion on what these mean to her and to the work she's doing to advance our collective understanding of them.
In this episode, I chat with Pat Morden, a leader who champions, celebrates, nudges and coaches herself and others to dig deep and flourish in service of their purpose . Pat brings to this her deep passion for possibilities, the learnings of her relationships, failures , joys and challenges as a nurse, a CEO, a world champion , a widow , a volunteer and a farmer. ย Sheโs a heart-centered leader and she's my UNFTLRD ย guest.
Caroline is a woman who feels and lives to help other people open up about their struggle, their learnings, and their growth. ย She is self-described as one who sees the Unseen, peels back the veils and adresses the elephant in the room. ย
With over 21 years supporting executives and teams in MNCs + social entrepreneurship as a Certified Leadership Coach, International Speaker and Social Innovation Changemaker, she is all about inviting sharig human stories that encourage deeper connection, to empower others to look inside themselves, to appreciate all of life experiences, and to enquire on their own experiences of becoming the best version of themselves. ย
This is why she is my UNLFTRD guest.
In this episode, I get to have a heart-to-heart with one of my favorite LinkedIn personalities, Jay Andrews, a recognized expert in social media branding and personal resilience. With over 25 years of experience in the corporate and entrepreneurial fields and a proven track record of successful social media/branding, he is the founder of RippleEffect, the Chief Business Officer at an international coaching company and a true UNFLTRD leader who brings the LinkedIn community so much value daily with his reflective and thought-provoking daily posts, not the least the Friday #FantasticFour which spotlights individuals across the global community for their unique superpowers. ย ย His presence doesn't stop there, Jay picks up the mic and takes his passion for motivating and inspiring others to audiences through speaking engagements and given his natural ability to connect with audiences using humour, story-telling and powerful analogies, he leaves audiences inspired and empowered. ย ย ย Jay's warm personality onscreen extends to, rather, extends from his off-line as a partner and father to 4 teenage boys. Whatever he's doing, Jay follows his personal mantra and professional mission statement to โpositively affect one person a day ' and he does that like a ripple in a pond. ย In this episode, he brings his energy, his warmth and his insight to cause ripples as my UNFLTRD guest.
In this episode of The UNFLTRD Podcast I chat with a dear friend, Cordelia Gaffar, the Emotions Opener Transformation Strategist who guides leaders to use their darkest and most difficult emotions to show up powerfully as a courageous leader. ย ย ย
2020 was a year of very difficult conversations surrounding diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion and Cordelia has been at the forefront of facilitating this conversation on an organizational level. ย ย
In 2021 along with award-winning Berlin based co-hosts, Mira and Peter Griffiths created the Unlearning Labels Podcast and workshops to help organizations to implement actionable tools and change policies. ย
She is also a force in womenโs empowerment and awarded Top National Influencer, a Sexy Brilliant Ambassador and Leader, and inducted into the Global Library of Female Authors. Her new book Detached Love: Transforming Your Heart So That You can Transform Your Mind highlights her Replenish Me โข Process, which is self-leadership surrounding practicing sustainable mindfulness. ย ย ย
Her other awards include Best Podcast Host of 2019, for her Free to Be podcast, ย Volunteer of the Year and best-selling co-author of Americaโs Leading Ladies: who positively impact the world with Oprah Winfrey and several dynamic women. ย ย ย
Even with all of her accolades her biggest brag is being a homeschooling mom of six children. ย As seen on America Meditating Radio, British Muslim TV, Spirituality Podcast, also featured on South African radio 786, and Fox News.
Covid has shifted the in-person experience. Once in-high demand inspirational and motivational speakers have found their world turned upside. While this can be a life-changing and demotivating reality, it didn't faze Ryan Estis. ย ย
It's not to say that Ryan wasn't impacted like many in his space. But he decided to act rather than be acted upon and reinvented himself and pivoted to provide his services virtually. ย ย
I was inspired to listen to his story and this is why he can still move audiences, even while thousand of miles apart.
My next guest is an expert on authentic leadership who shares her inspirational message of personal power, responsibility and impact with organizations across the country. Kimberly Davis also teaches leadership programs world-wide and her program โOnstage Leadershipโ runs in NYC and Dallas , she also teaches for SMU Cox School of Business' Executive Education Program and their Latino Leadership Initiative, as well as for the Bush Institute's WE Lead program which serves to empower female leaders from the Middle East. ย ย Kimberly is a TEDx speaker and her book, Brave Leadership: Unleash Your Most Confident, Authentic, and Powerful Self to Get the Results You Need was awarded the Benjamin Franklin Silver Award for Business Books in 2019 and named the #1 book to read on Inc. Magazineโs โThe most impactful books to read in 2018.โ ย And today, she's my UNFLTRD guest talking about her "brave."
