Your energy has to become the version of you that can hold what you’re asking for, and only then does the mind catch up. We explore why ceremony is different from routine ritual or a standard guided meditation, then ground the equinox in practical symbolism: the West and the setting sun, the maturity of adulthood, the truth-telling of harvest, and water as emotion, reflection, and change. From there we shift into a powerful reframe: a threshold is something you can step over and step back from, but a portal is defined by intention and forward motion. When you decide you’re done with the old season, you stop negotiating with what’s complete. 

The guided practice invites you to look back on the landscape you’ve lived, claim what you became while creating what you created, and then bring one human desire to the water. We ask the question that cuts through surface-level manifestation: what are you really asking for beneath that desire? You’ll cross the water, receive a soul-level evolution cue, choose a single word as your guidepost, and anchor it by infusing it into water and drinking it. We also share what “evidence” can look like afterward, from synchronicities to sudden clarity to patterns that simply stop gripping you.

What if protecting your energy isn’t actually about building a stronger wall around yourself?

In the first-ever Unity Code Live experiment, we tested it. Participants first noticed their natural energetic baseline, then intentionally “locked down” their fields to see what changed. Some felt incredibly calm. One felt claustrophobic. For others, everything simply went quiet. Your tech doesn’t “randomly” fail at the worst possible time. You can admire a spiritual teacher, trust their work, buy the books and classes, and then suddenly feel a full-body absolutely fucking not. The confusing part is what happens next: your mind starts explaining away your own reaction. Maybe you’re judging. Maybe you’re jealous. Maybe you’re resisting growth. Or maybe something genuinely changed.

There are actually three very different reasons a teacher can start giving you the ick. The teacher may no longer embody what they teach. Your own resistance may be trying to keep you comfortable. Or you may have simply outgrown the lesson.

Nicole digs into teacher embodiment, spiritual sovereignty, eternal students, why discomfort is not automatically a red flag, and the AP Biology advice that still shapes how she chooses what to learn.

The goal is not to decide who’s bad. It’s to get much better at recognizing what the signal is actually telling you.
