Hello, dear internet friends! This week was one of my favorite weeks here on the podcast because I got to talk with my lovely lady, Kailey, about how our relationships with our bodies have changed throughout the course of our relationship with eachother. There are a million and one things to be said about that, so processing it here was a lot of fun. We talked about what it's like processing trauma in therapy while having a serious partner, not being able to "hide", allowing ourselves to express our needs to each other, Kailey's autoimmune disorder, etc. Oh, and we had a pretty big announcement to make, so don't miss that ;) Enjoy!

Hello friends!
For this week's episode, I had the honor of interviewing an incredible author, Jonathan Parks-Ramage. Jonathan Parks-Ramage is a Los Angeles-based novelist, screenwriter, and journalist. His debut novel, YES, DADDY, is now available wherever books are sold. His writing has been widely published in such outlets as VICE, Slate, OUT Magazine, W Magazine, Atlas Obscura, Elle, and Medium.
On the episode, Jonathan gives us a peek into the world of writing his novel, Yes, Daddy, and how he used truth to write fiction. The book is an exploration of class, power dynamics, and the nuances of victimhood and complicity. Personally, I couldn't put it down.
He also shares his story about spirituality and talks about ways that the evangelical church is extremely harmful.
Incredible interview. Enjoy!

Hello, people of the world. Years ago a close friend sent me a spoken word piece entitled "This is for You." That piece spoke to me in the most powerful ways. This week on the podcast I had the incredible opportunity of interviewing the creator of that spoken word, Arielle Estoria. Arielle is a poet, author, actor, and artist. She shared so much magic with us during this conversation, covering topics like the enneagram, emotions, poetry, overcoming insecurities, and more. Enjoy!

Hello, people of the world. This week I got to interview someone who I could have talked to for hours on end. Melissa Hawks, intuitive life guide, artist, story weaver, and holy wild woman shares her journey on how she decided to love herself. That choice, as simple as it sounds, is the most important journey of them all. Every word Melissa writes just oozes with compassion, and our conversation feels exactly the same. Enjoy!

I was so excited to share this week's interview that I made an IG live about it weeks ago. Meet my new friend, Chris Marshall! Chris is the creator and owner of a sober bar in Austin called Sans Bar, and has an incredible story about his recovery journey. Connection played a major role in his story, which felt so close to home for me. Enjoy!

This week I got the chance to interview one of the most important voices on the internet regarding faith and sexuality, Kevin Garcia. Kevin is a digital pastor, creative mystic, and public theologian. Through writing, podcasting, YouTubing, etc, Kevin has created an online platform that literally saves lives. As a queer woman who has a bit of a rough history with the Christianity stuff, this episode was an encouragement. By pulling apart bad theology and reconstructing sustainable spiritual practices, Kevin both helps us free ourselves, and those around us. Enjoy!

It was an honor getting to interview my new friend Sarai last week about his experience exploring his gender identity, sexuality, and mental health. I learned so much about the trans experience through Sarai generously sharing his story. Anywhere from public restrooms to being in a doctor's office, there's so much to learn about how to make this world a more inclusive place. Enjoy!
