The Unnormal Paranormal Podcast

In part 2 of Elementals - Earth's Natural Spirits, the investigative team at Native Paranormal discuss some of the potential hazards that untrained investigators face when tracking elementals -- most are mischievous and know no boundaries with living humans.

Near the lakes and peaks of the Cascade Mountains of Oregon resides an enthusiastic family of native american paranormal investigators who love and identify with the ancient customs of its concealed inhabitants -- ones that exceed their given name: "elementals" ... and as we'll all soon learn, perhaps it's wise to leave their examination to those whose lineage and temperament are best suited to this specific pursuit!

Nature spirits, aka "Elementals", can be found in trees, rivers, plants, mountains, and minerals. They attach themselves to nature's natural elements. And according to the investigators at Native Paranormal Seekers, they are also drawn to the living!

The Worthington House Murder - A Spirit On Trial

Mike Stevenson proudly assumes the designated role of Gatekeeper to the deceased occupants of the Worthington House -- a mansion built in 1841 by Captain John Worthington, a wealthy Quaker landowner.

Mike has spent years investigating the murder of a sixteen year old girl, a case unremembered via the potent combination of time and a cover up ... by immediate family and local media at the time for the sake of ... well, we don't know yet. Faced with this reality, Mike relies on informants no longer bound by the yoke of mortal concerns and convention.

Lindy Baker -- Karmic Dissipation

What if there is an underlying reason for all the chaos, anger and violence that has overcome the globe? In the early 90s, Lindy Baker, gifted clairvoyant psychic had visions of what her guides called Karmic Dissipation -- the black hole for karma, a point of no return .... but as she is here to explain, a veil of hopelessness often masks a brighter future for those willing to open their eyes

Rod Serling made reference to " .... the pit of mans fears" after each of his memorable opening dialogues for The Twilight Zone. Our guest Lindy Baker artfully illustrated one such fear: when a dimensionless force that guides the known universe rings our door and hands out a compulsory do it yourself road map to the future. The destination is entirely your call.

The voice of a skeptic is a matter of perspective: do words of skepticism come from an external voice, such as those expressed by Dr. Bryan Farha, or do they arise from our own duality -- best described by the yin and yang of Chinese philosophy?

In part 2, Dr. Farha discusses his television appearance on the Larry King show with psychic Sylvia Browne.

Are we advocating any one side of the paranormal -- pro or con? The answer is "no" ... we feel that anyone with a studied opinion deserves your attention.

Is it possible for the scientific community to accept for serious inquiry the existence of what psychics claim as our "sixth sense"? The sixth sense, often referred to as intuition, collects information is its most pure and literal form (unlike the other 5 senses) and cannot be filtered by "thinking" the answer. To do so, say psychics, runs the risk of adulterating the message.

But who is to say exactly what reality is? We ask that you judge for yourself whether scientific examination takes a seat at the board room, along with intuition and personal encounters.

Our guest today, professor Bryan Farha, editor of the critical thinking anthology, Pseudoscience and Deception: The Smoke and Mirrors of Paranormal Claims, will be here to discuss a life time of inquiry into the world of paranormal phenomenon

Claims of life after death and psychic ability is often discredited by the skeptic community as fraud, and even worse: "pseudoscience". But to parapsychologist and fellow researchers at The Rhine Research center, an objective mindset must prevail -- so let the exploration of unusual experiences and exceptional phenomena in a laboratory environment commence at once!

In many cognitive science circles, it is believed that one's personal verdict of reality arises from the interplay between our prearranged inner biases AND what we actively view from the outside. If true, does this mean that our own paranormal observances are -- by definition, willful hallucinations? Intriguing thought .. but restricted recipes, whether applied to chocolate or paranormal analysis, do not always yield the best results as pointed out by our guest -- parapsychologist and expert chocolatier, Loyd Auerbach.

In this episode (part 1 of 2) we discuss the poltergeist phenomenon and how the power of the human mind can effect the physical environment we interact with!

The de facto software in business forecasting is Oracle - also a title reserved for a priest/priestess acting as a medium. Think of Marianne Cantwell as a business "priestess": one who helps business leaders craft and forecast their own careers.

Is Marianne all about business? Not at all! In this episode she discusses how, in addition to discovering our true calling, a liminal mindset allows us to experience the wonderment of otherworldly experiences.
