At the University of Kentucky a change came under coach Charles Bradshaw. The Wildcats recruited defensive end Greg Page and receiver Nate Northington, the first African-Americans to integrate football in the 1967 SEC season! In what is described as "barbaric" practices something happened that left Greg Page paralyzed. University of Kentucky's #25 Jerry Davis takes us on a journey back to the time of the turbulent 1960's. Jerry gives us insight into the harsh physical environment brought on by the #UK football coach Charlie Bradshaw. Charlie Bradshaw, a Bear Bryant disciple , subjected teams to his brutal conditioning tactics. In Jerry's senior year at #UK he witnessed the historic and tragic moments of pioneers Nate Northington and Greg Page during the integration of the #SEC. Jerry finished his career at #UK as a Graduate Assistant Coach working with future guest Wilbur Hackett.
