Harkening back to 70s blaxploitation films, this sci-fi mystery caper in which an unlikely trio investigates a series of eerie events, alerting them to a nefarious conspiracy lurking directly beneath their hood. Fontaine, a neighborhood drug dealer, is shot dead by rival Isaac and then is very shocked to wake up in his bed the next morning unharmed. He and Slick Charles and Yo-Yo begin looking into the incident, and their search eventually leads them to a vast underground complex where a government backed lab is performing experiments on the local Black population. Realizing that he is an artificial clone controlled by Nixon, Fontaine initially feels despair, but decides he needs to stand up to these White institutional overlords for the sake of his neighborhood.

After a long break, Rashad and Kesha are back (hopefully more consistently) with HWTJ and recapping a major life event that’s taken up a lot of our time. Through this process we’ve been able to reflect and introspect about our relationship as a whole, what it means to us, as well as the people that have been with us along the path of our marriage.

Tom Cruise has a death wish and we are all being entertained by it! MI7 is hands down the best entry in this rather successful Mission Impossible franchise, as Ethan Hunt is back to save the world from the most current entity at play irl, A.I. If you haven’t refreshed yourself on the franchise you should do that, since there are many callbacks from the OG Mission Impossible, Ghost Protocol, and Fallout. Leave a comment telling us your favorite part of the film and how does it stack up to the rest of the franchise!

Secret Invasion Ep. 4: Beloved - Nick Fury and his favorite Skrull Talos are trying to figure who amongst them is a Skrull and what’s Gravik’s next move will be. The fate of G’iah will be revealed and what’s up with Rhodey, aka, War Machine 🤔? #secretinvasion #skrull #nickfury #samuelljackson

This is probably one of the best Disney+ MCU show to date! The espionage is cranked up to 11 as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) tries to pick up the pieces from last weeks explosive ending. Gravik is proving to be a worthy adversary, as G’iah is having doubts about the Skrull takeover of Earth.
