The Upon Further Review

Since the end of Loki season two, SAG has ended their strike and news has been plentiful in regards to casting and movie schedule updates. Variety did their best TMZ telling the world that the MCU is falling apart. Most importantly, did Kevin Feige create an out for not having to have Kang and Johnathan Majors seamlessly shift away from this potential nightmare. Antonio and Rashad show some Black Friday love as they talk about the ramifications of all this news.

The Marvels is the much maligned movie that’s probably better than you think it is. Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau have to learn how to be a team after their quantum entanglement and the shortest runtime of any MCU film tries to convince the audience that it’s enough time to get their point across. Grandpa Nick is here, along with Kamala Khan’s mom, dad, and big brother. And flerkens!

Wow. Loki has been a pleasure to watch and record these reviews! Loki has to be the best MCU property post Endgame! Loki, Victor Timely, Mobius and the gang at the TVA try to figure out how to save the loom and all of the branching timelines

Ep. 3 is another intriguing episode that defines the why for this season of Loki on Disney Plus! Loki and the gang go to 1893 Chicago and visit one Victor Timely, as he swindles his way to notoriety and the exploration of time as a commodity. Sylvie pops up choosing violence and Miss Minutes and Rennslayer do their best The Boy is Mine impression.

Loki season 2 starts right were we left off from the tumultuous ending from the Sacred Timeline being shattered to pieces! All of our favorites are back (Hunter B-15, Mobius, Casey) and the title’s namesake Ouroboros, is played by none other than Ke Huy Quan! This nonstop episode explains what’s happening to the TVA and why Loki is “time slipping.” This was a strong first episode for season two and it’s showing no signs of a sophomore slump!

In the finale of maybe this season (not series👀), Ahsoka, Sabine, Huyang, and Ezra try to get back to the main galaxy, as Thrawn and the Night Sisters are trying to prevent them from messing up their plans. So many Clone Wars references and maybe some possible Legends tie ins were kinda confirmed? We don’t know for certain, but we definitely discuss it. Post your comments and questions about the entire series, because we’ll be doing a series review very soon!
