The Upon Further Review

The Bad Batch is back with a trio of episodes to start off season 3! RIP Tech😔, but the gang is reeling from their losses as Omega and Crosshair are both imprisoned and Hunter (Wrecker too) wants to get Omega back by any means necessary.

Madame Web has to be one of the most half baked movies I’ve seen in a long time. Antonio refused to see it, so my cuzzo Nadia pulled up to the pod and we really had thoughts about this movie😂

Kesha decided to fire up the podcast equipment and talk about how to deal with adversity. “What to do when things get rough,” is the focus of episode 80 of Hanging with the Joneses podcast. We talk in detail about some things to consider and ponder when you find yourself in a difficult place. Be sure to check the entire list below and to join The Upon Further Review channel!

8 things to remember when going through tough times.

1. Everything can - and will - change.

2. You've overcome challenges before.

3. It's a learning experience.

4. Not getting what you want can be a blessing.

5. Allow yourself to have some fun.

6. Being kind to yourself is the best medicine.

7. Other people's negativity isn't worth worrying about.

8. And there is always, always, always, something to be thankful for.

Antonio and Rashad watched Echo on Disney Plus (and Hulu) and it was a quick 5 episode season. The title character gets her own show after appearing in Hawkeye a few years ago. If you watched Echo, leave how you felt about it in the comments!

Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” is a space opera that was a script made for Star Wars that Netflix said, “Hey! We’ll buy it and let you have full control. No notes from us.” We follow this homage to Kurosawa and “Seven Samurai,” as a rag tag bunch aim to defend a helpless bunch of farmers from the establishment.

This has been a hard year for the MCU faithful, as we have five total properties across movie and streaming, and they all didn’t hit. Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Secret Invasion, Loki Season 2, and The Marvels round out the lineup this year. We also talk about the fall of one Johnathan Majors🤦🏾‍♂️.
