The Vaktare

Party A - Breeze, Athelstan and Ki’Lai - are still missing as Party B - Sly, Atlas, and Alaric - gets up for breakfast. Party B decides to follow, but the mansion is not as Party A found it. There are people there, and the mansion is whole and undamaged. Party A finds a room on the second floor with bodies in the bed and a mysterious vampire killing kit beneath it. Party B meets the lady of the house and Sly sends rats to look for the others. The rats inform them about the barriers on the second floor and they throw a shoe at it, as one is wont to do. Party A is able to get Ki away from the doll, but not without side effects. The memories threaten to overwhelm her and she reveals her damaged wings. Athelstan is supportive in his own way. Just as Party A is about to leave, they find Sly’s shoe and the little rat near the barrier.

This story follows our rebel band of disaster lesbians as they attend the gala being held at the fortress and attempt to free the water being hoarded by the people of New Cisterf in the Kingdom of Heterovia… and overthrow the patriarchy while they are at it.

This amazing one shot was written and GM'd by the talented Jeremy from Old Men Rolling Dice and follows four people on a journey for answers.  Missing teenagers, dangerous foes from the past, blood magic and blood lust all play a part in this riveting story set in Ridgeway, PA in the fall of 1984. The local sheriff, a private investigator, a reverend and a student of the occult all band together to find out just what is going on in this sleepy town.  13 boys went missing a decade ago in Pittsburgh, where only their teeth were recovered. Is history repeating itself 10 years later, or is it a copycat...?
