It's week three of social distancing/self-isolation/quarantine amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. While isolated, & tethered to our devices, there's a chance that our interpersonal communication skills may potentially take a hit. No worries, this week The Vexed Intellects discuss several different types of interpersonal communication to help you stay sharp in the absence of in-person interaction.

It's week two of social distancing/self-isolation/quarantine amidst the COVID 19 pandemic in the United States. Last week the Intellects offered some unique, & constructive recommendations for activities to help pass the time while in in-home solitary confinement. 

This week the guys touch on another coronavirus related topic: Checking on your friends that may be dealing with mental health issues, and/or suicidal thoughts during the isolation period. While the focus of the world is currently on stopping the spread of this deadly virus (understandably so), we must also remember to check in on, AND support our friends & loved ones that may feel a bit more alone at this time whilst fighting to overcome mental health related struggles. The gentleman offer some tips, & suggestions on ways to do just that.

The stores are closed. The bars are closed. The restaurants are closed. The malls are closed. The theaters are closed. No sports. No concerts... As cabin fever sets in due to the recommended self-isolation & quarantine, one must seek innovative ways to entertain themselves. Have no fear, the Vexed Intellects are here! This week the guys share some creative ideas to keep some semblance of normalcy while in isolation. Tour some of the world's greatest museums, take up a live stream workout class, learn to cook a new dish, & much more...

CBS teased a clip of journalist Gayle King asking LA Sparks legend Lisa Leslie a line of (what some people viewed as) leading & poorly timed questioning regarding the legacy of Kobe Bryant in the wake of his untimely death. 

Public response to the clip was swift, with a large majority of the responses being harsh and vitriolic. One of the more famous of these responses was delivered by rap legend Snoop Dogg, who's passionate, profanity-laced video in response to Gayle's CBS clip went viral & spawned many debates about civil disagreement. 

Was Gayle out of line? Or was it her journalistic duty to ask about Kobe's 2003 case? Did she weaponize Lisa Leslie's womanhood for clicks? Was Snoop out of line? Was he wrong for defending his friend? Was he justified in calling Gayle out her name considering the circumstances? Why did this spirited back & forth turn into a gender war?
