In this episode, I share what jiujitsu is teaching me about the mind, the body, and the inner world that shapes our performance. This isn’t just about BJJ — it’s about implicit memory, state-dependent thoughts, and the power of procedural intelligence.I explore how your identity shapes the patterns you see, and how your emotional state influences the meaning you assign to those patterns. If you’ve ever wondered why you self-sabotage when you’re tired, or why your performance changes with your emotional state, this conversation will help you see that:Your negative thoughts are not truth — they are a program you have kept feeding due to your state. And most importantly:Your objective doesn’t disappear just because your energy does.
In this episode, we dive into the emotional experience of envy — what it actually feels like in the brain and body, and why it shows up so often on social media. I break down how envy can highlight our deepest desires, the beliefs that hold us back from them, and how to work with this emotion instead of feeling shame around it. Envy is not a flaw — it’s a compass. Let’s understand it, integrate it, and use it to guide us toward who we’re wanting to become.
In this episode I talk about the feeling of longing and loneliness that comes up for me as I am desiring a relationship. I explain the process of maneuvering through this emotional terrain while still having self compassion. It's important to remember that despite feeling that longing for a partner, you still have all of the ability within you to cultivate the feeling of romance all on your own. I hope this video serves as a reminder of that.
In this episode I talk about how it's okay to not be socially "on" all the time. I used to match people in tone and expression and I realized it was ripping me away of my authentic self. It's okay to be you even if it's a mellow/drained expression of you ! (:

In this episode I speak about the act of labeling oneself. When I stopped labeling myself, I was able to maximize on my brain and body's functions. Your brain and body are natural problem solvers. They are designed for coherence. But once you label yourself, put yourself in a box, you inadvertently strip your brain and body of its amazing abilities.

In this episode I talk about the notion "all love is transactional". I explain my take on why I believe that although this is a very common way society has shown us how to experience love, I don't believe it is the only way. I think unconditional love can be felt for more than just family. I think with the right internal shifts, we can indeed cultivate unconditional love for romantic partners.
