This week on Tell Me Something Podcast, Holly is back and we talk about "75 Hard", the metal toughness challenge we are about to start. Andy Frisella, 1st Phorm CEO and Real AF podcast host is the creator of "75 Hard" claims that this challenge is not a fitness challenge which most people think it is, but it is a mental toughness challenge. In the past few weeks, I've been consuming personal development podcasts like crazy and in doing so I came across the "75 Hard" Challenge. If you don't know about the 75 Hard, listen to the podcast as we dive into what it consists of or do a quick google search, but still listen to the podcast. It has 5 simple rules, but it is an extremely difficult challenge.

This week on the podcast we have the one and only Mike Tipton. Mike is an old friend from high school and has gone on to do some amazing things. He is an Air Force veteran who went on to work in radio as a producer and radio host. He held positions at KLAQ in El Paso, TX, ESPN, and IHeart Radio. Mike now hosts a series of podcasts which include "Just the Tip, LLC". I had a blast catching up and learning all about his career thus far.
This week on the podcast Holly and I are discussing the excitement of having guests virtually. We have decided on having guests on the podcasts through FaceTime, Zoom, StreamYard, or any other platform to connect virtually. It is really exciting as many people have signed on to be guests on the show. We got sidetracked talking about education for a bit and spent the second half of the podcast talking about telling people you're from El Paso without saying you're from El Paso by using a list of sayings from El Paso's local radio station KLAQ. It was a good conversation to have prior to getting guests back on the show.
This week our very own Justin Leeper returns to the podcast to talk about the water situation here in San Angelo, Texas, and some of the impacts the "2021 Texas Ice Storm" had around here and the rest of the state. We talked about what we did to get by without water such as melting snow to have water to flush toilets and taking what we refer to in the military as "combat showers". It made us realize how much we take simple things for granted and how dependent we are as humans. We got through it though and are better for it.
This week on the podcast we talk about the crazy week that took place here in San Angelo, Texas. We had weather like it was Alaska which is now being referred to as the "2021 Texas Ice Storm" and other problems with our city's drinking water. One of the biggest lessons we learned this week is to not drive in icy conditions if you don't have to even if you think you are experienced enough.
This week on the podcast we decided to tackle some Valentines Day themed questions and other relationship-type questions. They're more on the fun side rather than get to know your partner-type questions. We talk about the thought of Valentines Day being a conspiracy to increase consumerism, Sweethearts Day, why Michael Pena and Isla Fisher would play us in a movie, and memories of past Valentine Days.
This week on the podcast we talk about some of my 16-year Air Force anniversary. This episode is focused on the Air Force and many of the experiences we've had along with what we think the future holds for us in the rest of our Air Force careers.
This week on the podcast we go through another round of questions so can get to know us just a little bit more and have a few laughs with us. We had a blast going through the questions as some were light-hearted and fun while others were a little more on the emotional side having us dig a little deeper into our thoughts for answers.
