This week on the Vill House Podcast, Holly and I go through another round of questions. Typically, these are some of my favorite podcasts to do and this one was no different. Some of the questions really made us think deeply about our responses and made us think about good and bad times in our lives that really made an impact on the people we are today. We pulled these questions from EchoWave and gifts.com.
This week on the Vill House Podcast we are talking about our Spartan Race experience. We completed our Spartan Race Trifecta back in 2016 and now looking to complete our second Trifecta 5 years later in 2021. We just completed the "Super" which is a 10k and we are a little banged up after it. Our good friends Justin and Erin Leeper who have been on the podcast multiple times joined us for the race and we simply had a blast. If you have never done a Spartan Race I highly recommend that you sign up for one, preferably with a friend, and go through the experience.
This week on the new Vill House Podcast we are joined once again by the awesome Erin Leeper. If you're not familiar with her, go back and listen to episodes 51 and 23 where we had a lot of laughs. In this episode, we ran through a list of questions from a website called Mantelligence which turned out to be amusing and required plenty of thought. Surviving a zombie apocalypse, relationships with Facebook friends, family ties, are just a few of the topics that the questions touched on. We had a blast and I'm sure you will too. Don't forget to visit the Vill House Podcast website, subscribe to the podcast and newsletter.

This week on the podcast we celebrate one year in podcasting by doing a podcast. Since we're in the middle of our 75 Hard challenge, day 35 to be exact, we weren't able to have a drink so we just did another podcast. We reviewed the last 51 episodes and discussed which were some of our favorites, the guest we've had on, and some of the lessons we learned along the way. We also talked about our way forward, hopefully, another solid year in podcasting with our new name, The Vill House Podcast.
This week on the podcast we are joined by the awesome Erin Leeper. She's no stranger to the show as she has been on here a few times. This time around we talk about running. Erin has a deep love for running and we going into why she enjoys it so much and her running coaching career. We also talk about fitness and preparing for the upcoming Spartan Race in Austin, Texas.
This week on the podcast we are giving our update on the 75 Hard challenge we took on 3 weeks ago. We are now 21 days into 75 Hard and it has not been easy. Although we are making a lot of progress, it is taking a toll on us, but we are finding ways to push through and soldier on. We go into how the past 3 weeks have been with the challenge and some of the things we are doing to ensure that we are successful. As advertised by Andy Frisella, 75 Hard is a difficult challenge to get through, but it is worth it.

This week on the podcast we are joined by our good friend Doug McNeese. Doug is an Air Force NCO who has served in many places around the world which include Alaska, Las Vegas, Florida, Korea, and Afghanistan. Currently, he is serving as an instructor here in Texas. He is an avid hunter and fisherman which is why our conversation was mostly about hunting. Doug gives us some great insight on hunting along with an incredible story of an encounter he had with a grizzly bear while hunting in Alaska.
