We are finishing our series on the essentials of Christian theology with the Bible. In a culture where so-called truth is always changing, the Bible is unchanging truth we can stand on. In this episode, Brittni Laurie reminds us that when it comes to God’s Word, we are the students and He is the Teacher. Let God speak to us through it, transform our thoughts, and change our lives.

Does knowing the truth about heaven and hell cause us to live a remarkable and purposeful life? If we view eternity rightly, we know it is far more than a personal ticket out of hell and into heaven. Christians have been characterized as being “so heavenly-minded they’re no earthly good.” But as C.S. Lewis said, “History will show that the people who did the most for this present world were the ones who thought the most about the next one.”
In this podcast, Cathe highlights the impact that our beliefs about eternity can have on the world around us right now, and the impact it has on our heart and life.

This week we focus on who the Holy Spirit is and how He works. Maybe being in a relationship with the Holy Spirit is a new thought for you. In this podcast, Christi reminds us that living and growing in our faith isn’t something we can ever do on our own. The Holy Spirit is the One who leads us into truth so that we can be all we were meant to be and live a dynamic life of faith in Christ.

In our study this week, we focus on Jesus. So many people say the name of Jesus and know the name of Jesus, but have no idea of who He really is. In this podcast, Shelley reminds us that the more we know of Jesus, the more we discover there is to learn! So, let’s get ready to dip our thimble into the ocean of riches that is Jesus, “in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3).

We begin our new series with an encouraging reminder from Trish that our God is someone to boast about. How do we boast in God? It starts with knowing God, through the Word of God, and then making Him known to others by the way that we live and breathe to bring Him glory!

Can you think of a time when you hoped and wished for something good to happen? You prayed, you asked, but sadly, the thing you wished for didn’t come to be. In times of crisis, it’s easy to miss the signs that Jesus is right there with us.
In this special Easter podcast, Cathe walks us through Mary Magdalene’s experience at the empty tomb on that resurrection morning. When Jesus spoke Mary’s name, she recognized Him! As you listen, be reminded that Mary’s story is a lesson for us all. Do you need to hear the Lord speak your name today? Be still and linger.

This week we read about Jesus healing a man who was born blind. The Bible has a lot to say about suffering, and this man’s encounter with Jesus has much to teach us. Just as the prophet Isaiah foretold, this sign reveals Jesus as Messiah, who would open the eyes of the blind. Not only did he receive physical sight, the man’s spiritual eyes of faith were opened when Jesus lit up his world and transformed his life.
In this podcast, Melanie reminds us that Jesus has called us out of darkness into light. Even as our world seems to be getting darker, Jesus remains the Light of the world. He can never be extinguished! So let your light shine!

Jesus feeding the multitude is such a familiar story that it’s easy for us to miss the reason John recorded these true accounts in his gospel. Every miracle was a sign for those who experienced them and serve a purpose for us as well. This week, Zenovia urges us to look with fresh eyes of faith and be part of the multitude that can’t help but follow Jesus in anticipation of all that He will do.
