I'm excited to have Stacey on today because like a couple of days ago I saw when she did her summit - it brought me back to when we met three or four years ago in this amazing network community. We had five of us that got really close and shared many meaningful moments together.

I asked Stacey about any fears she had around visibility when she first started out as a business coach over 20 years ago - even before video was popular! She said that luckily, she was already a nerd in high school so she was used to being uncomfortable - plus she was part of the nerdy NFL (National Forensic League). That got her used to public speaking so it didn't faze her much when video came out either!

So how did she build up the confidence to take risks while also cultivating trust within her audience? She attributes it to having an entrepreneurial spirit that loves the challenge of mastering something new after mastering the fundamentals. This combination of risk-taking and support is what gives her such an admirable presence!

The key to authentically being yourself when you’re in front of an audience is understanding the energy you bring with you. Be aware of how you are feeling at any given moment and own it. Don't try to fit a certain character - whatever state or emotion you're in, embrace it and allow it to influence the words and way you communicate your message. Even if that means not being as energetic and excited as people expect. It's important to remember that your craft will still allow you to share the same information, but from a different place. Work moment-to-moment, stay true to yourself, and don’t be afraid to show vulnerability. That is what sets apart those who can really move their audiences.
