HOW TO NEVER BOOK ANY PODCAST
#1. There is an inserted {or attached} photo.
#2. The subject line is boring.
#3. The explanation is way too long.
#4. There's no indication that this agent even knows who I am.
#5. No pitch topics.
#6. No generous action.
HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR THE PERFECT PITCH
#1. Create your mini bio.
#2. Figure out your two main talking points.
#3. Give an example.
#4. Show interest in their show.
#5. A generous action.
We've covered a TON of ground today, yeah?
But I hope this has shown you how NOT to pitch - and how TO pitch!
Some very common mistakes are so easy to avoid.
And it doesn't take much work to craft a pitch that really stands out, and gets you booked!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, so....
Let me know:

I'm going to walk you through how to organize your membership for better learning and engagement.
#1. ORGANIZE
When a member first joins, be sure to have them see a "getting started" module where they can learn how your membership works.
This means showing them how to:
-Understand the layout
-Know the schedule
-See the plan
-Take their first action
Remember, they are the student - you are the teacher. Don't be afraid to take the reigns and tell them exactly what to do.
#2. SUCCESS PATH
Come up with 4-5 stages of learning your students can go through to hit their big result.
Once you find your path names, you can start organizing your learning content within each stage. And no, you do not have to publish it all at once.
I'm still working on completing the stages - and that's ok. As long as you're publishing new content consistently, your members will love it.
Keeping content organized is crucial for a member navigating your lessons easily. And, if you can, accompany your videos with worksheets and downloads to help cover each learning style.
I love putting workbooks in for each stage so my students can see their progress and then rewarding them when they complete each stage.
#3. ENGAGEMENT
My members NEVER feel alone in the journey and always know they can reach me.
Here are some ways you can connect:
-Hot Seats
-Office Hours
-Group Coaching Calls
-Private Messages
-Interviews within the community
-Prizes
THE TOOL THAT COVERS EVERYTHING
It's easy to explain all the different material to cover, but finding the right software for the job can be a nightmare.
Let me simplify it for you - choose Kajabi!! {this link gives you a 28 day trial!}
https://app.kajabi.com/r/orcPbC2h/t/pxxsuoh9
Trust me, I've tried everything: Wordpress, Squarespace, Thinkific, Teachable and Clickfunnels.
Nothing compares to the ease and organization of Kajabi.
No more jumping between email software, membership hosting, payment softwares and community.
I could have everything all in one place - and now, I can even have my students log in to The Visibility Lounge on its own app!
It's definitely an all-in-one solution that is light years beyond what any other software offers at the moment.
So, if you want to try it free for 28 days and try building out your membership, I recommend grabbing Kajabi here. And remember, this link gives you an extra 2 weeks to the normal 14-day trial. https://app.kajabi.com/r/orcPbC2h/t/p...
WRAPPING IT UP
I know you can do incredible things with your membership. And hopefully, this breakdown has helped you see how powerful you can truly make it for your members.
I'd love to hear your biggest takeaways or any progress you've made in your membership creation process!
Let me know!
I don't know about you, but throughout the first year of my business - I tried every single system out there.
Wordpress, Squarespace, domain hosts, design softwares, payment tools, online course hosts, social media schedulers, Dropbox...you name it, I had it. And, for awhile, it's easy to just charge it to your credit card + think, "This isn't a problem! In a few months I'll be making more money + won't have to think about it!". Then, a year later, you're in tears trying to pay off all the debt you've racked up.
I told you I've been there ;)
I want to save you time + more importantly, I want to save you money.
So, from the gal who has done it ALL, let me break down for you the 5 top tools I now use to run my business that cost me $197/mo.
KAJABI
I was in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho with my family - sitting down with my expenses + breaking down in tears because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make all of my monthly payments that week. Can you relate?
Kajabi took care of my website, blog, funnels, products, email list, affiliate center, app, everything!
Did I mention it's only $134/mo? Compared to the $297/mo I was paying with my other system, this was an immediate relief to my bank account + my sanity!
You can get a free 28 day trial right here.
CONVERTKIT
ConvertKit does a great job of segmenting my list, making broadcasts/sequences super easy + most importantly, handling the GDPR very easily within their system. It's one of the best software's to locate where people live, which I was very much impressed with.
Try it out here.*
PLANOLY
Planoly does have a free option!
I have some team members currently, so I needed to upgrade + pay $15/mo. This makes Instagram SO much more manageable for me. Being able to see my posts in a grid format, have detailed analytics + the ability to add 30 hashtags in a click? Sold. Then the ability to schedule them + have them auto-post?!
SOCIAL BEE
This is how I get my content published hands-free on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter + even Instagram. I love being able to create a month's worth of content, upload it + know it can recycle itself over + over again.
Plus, at $14/mo, I think it's a steal! Try it out here.*
BUZZSPROUT
So, as an avid podcaster {The Visible Entrepreneur is currently wrapping up its second season!}, I have tried every software known to man! I started with Squarespace, then moved to Blubrry, then moved to Lisbyn. I finally found Buzzsprout.
It literally is the easiest platform I've ever used. It was a one-click import for them to get all of my past episodes, they automatically send it everywhere on every platform imaginable. It even lets you create audio graphics for free!
And it's only $12/mo. Try it out here + get $20!
GSUITE
GSuite is $10/mo, but it holds all of your google materials under your domain. And it's a lot cheaper than just having Drive or Dropbox. I haven't run out of storage yet! {And with all of my videos, that's saying something!}
These are the 5 software's I've used to keep my expenses down to $197 a month!
It has been such a breath of fresh air - especially during the leaner months!
