This week, we kick off a four-part series on the #8 biggest killer in America, which is Chronic Kidney Disease. But Dr. Prather says it is important to include Hypertension in the discussion because they are linked. In this episode, you'll learn: —The bad cycle of how Chronic Kidney Disease causes Hypertension and Hypertension causes Chronic Kidney Disease. —How almost 9-in-10 adults who have Chronic Kidney Disease don't even know that they have it. And the GFR lab test Dr. Prather monitors on all of his patients that reveals your Kidney health. —The astonishing fact that 80% of your Kidney function comes from the Left side and the Left Kidney actually sits lower than the tight Kidney. —How improving the Kidneys always improves Blood Pressure because 70% of Hypertension originates in the Kidneys. —Why there is a difference in acceptable Kidney lab numbers for Black patients. And why Dr. Prather says this is wrong and needs to be addressed. —How infections (particularly Strep infections), mineral and nutritional imbalances, Kidney stones, pharmaceuticals, and even injuries can cause Kidney Disease. —The importance of proper hydration and proper exercise for Kidney health. And how these can actually be overdone, such as with CrossFit, Triathletes, and Marathon runners. —The reason that Chronic Kidney Disease and Hypertension are known as "silent" killers. —Why prescription drugs are absolutely vital in the treatment of Hypertension, but also will eventually destroy the Kidneys over time. And how Holistic Integration helps patients to work off of their Hypertension medication over time by healing the Kidneys. —The reason that Dr. Prather says that if Structure-Function Care is not included in the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease, it's just a "downward hill". http://www.TheVoiceOfHealthRadio.com *Receive exclusive bonus content as a member of our Voice Of Health Patreon Community: https://www.patreon.com/cw/VoiceofHealthPodcast

CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE & HYPERTENSION: THE PROBLEM

Postpartum Mental Health has been in the news lately. While most of the discussion around this seems to not have answers, Dr. Prather says there are answers at Holistic Integration for postpartum issues. In this episode, we talk about: —How 85% of new Moms have "the baby blues", while 25% of postpartum women suffer from mental health issues. And the difference between baby blues, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, postpartum rage, and postpartum psychosis. —Why Dr. Prather says it is not surprising (and even expected) that women have postpartum issues because of all the nutritional and hormonal changes going on in her body. —How "bad emotions create bad hormones and bad hormones create bad emotions". And how Dr. Prather finds that postpartum anxiety is usually a collapse of the Adrenals, which can be corrected with natural products like Glandular supplementarion. —The safe and natural products Holistic Integration can offer for pregnant and nursing Moms without worrying about harming the baby like pharmaceuticals can. —How Holistic Integration can help provide support for the cases where pharmaceuticals are necessary, including guidance on which pharmaceutical will work best and offering a Homeopathic to reduce side effects. —Why it is so important to add Structure-Function Care to the Disease Care to truly heal and balance the body. —The diagnostics and lab tests at Holistic Integration that identify exactly what nutritional support new Moms need for their Endocrine System to be properly balanced. —Why Dr. Prather says that the Mom and the baby have to be treated as one since what is often going on in the Mom is also going on in the baby. —The reasons that Chiropractic and Acupuncture are so effective and helpful for new Mothers. And how those treatments during pregnancy can actually help with a smoother delivery. —The remarkable results Dr. Prather sees in his office for both Mom and baby when they receive proper Structure-Function Care prior to conception, during the pregnancy, and after the baby is born. And how Dr. Prather says pre-eclampsia and eclampsia can be prevented. http://www.TheVoiceOfHealthRadio.com *Receive exclusive bonus content as a member of our Voice Of Health Patreon Community: https://www.patreon.com/cw/VoiceofHealthPodcast
