Trying things a little differently this week...and maybe for the foreseeable. I want to keep doing The Voice of Steve. I hope you want to keep listening. But as long as the episodes were, it was taking too long to make them. So...I'll try making them shorter than they've been. Much shorter. Less quantity but more quality. And by more quality, I mean more than if there wasn't an episode at all.

Seems like things are just...different now. Starting with the shocking murder of YouTube star and "The Voice" finalist Christina Grimmie, this weekend has changed my view of the world and my place in it. Ms. Grimmie's death was followed by the slaughter of 50 people by someone who was either told by his religion, or more specifically, told by certain people who have perverted his religion, that gay people needed to die.

The world became a bit scarier this weekend. Not a fan of that. My thoughts and prayers go to Christina Grimmie and her family and to the victims of the nightclub shooting and their families.

I did my best to push some light and fun into our world this weekend. Not sure I was entirely successful. I hope I was, just a little bit.

To be honest, I realize that I mis-identified who started the Go Fund Me campaign. I said in the episode it was Selena Gomez's stepfather. Well, that IS true. But his name is not Laura Worley.
