On this episode I have a conversation with rapper E-Major & producer/ drummer Jon Laine about their recent project, "Fun Times In Baltimore". We reminisce on utilizing Myspace to connect with other musicians, ( E-Major was my first musician friend on social media back in 2006.) burning copies of your music project onto a cd and more. E-Major and Jon recall meeting up in Baltimore for a J-Dilla benefit show back in 07 and have been colleagues since. I get a crash course on the culture/ diversity of Baltimore, the polarizing moniker "DMV", learn the backstory behind the project title, their creative process, and our favorite songs on "FTIB". Last but not least, E-Major & Jon Laine share some advice / words of wisdom for aspiring artists / producers.
