Horror violence is nothing new, but now it’s on television and it’s mainstream. It’s the most popular television programming in the nation now. The Walking Dead season premier featured over-the-top, sick, gratuitous violence that turned off the pop-media commentators, but the millennials are drawn to it. Sadism is mainstream now, just in time to acclimate a nation for bloodbaths of torture and killings. This is nothing new, as we point out the state of the world before the Gospel of Jesus Christ penetrated the pagan world.
