God has established a wall of fire to protect you. You are kept by the power of God. “My Father who gave them to Me is greater than all and no man can pluck them out of My Father’s hand” (John 10:29). The Word of God you put in your soul is wisdom and this wisdom acts as a wall of fire protecting you from the lures of the world and involvement in the cosmic system. God’s protective presence is a hedge of protection and you should use this to maintain a relaxed mental attitude. “‘For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire around her and I will be the glory in her midst” (Zech 2:5). God provides a wall of fire around a client nation but when individuals within the nation move away from God, God can remove this wall of fire. When you get distracted by those around you or the details of life, your relationship with God is diminished. The best exercise you can do for your soul and body is to grow to spiritual maturity. “The bodily exercise profits little but godliness is profitable for everything having the promise of the life that now is and even of the life that is to come” (1 Tim 4:8).
