“Never forget” sounds strong until you realize how many people no longer know what they’re supposed to remember. On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we talk honestly about national memory, gratitude for the men and women who served, and why remembering can’t be reduced to a yearly moment of silence. If we forget the facts, we also forget the stakes and that vacuum always gets filled with a new story. We also dig into the real-world battle over what gets taught to students, including the controversy in Texas social studies standards about describing 9/11 as an attack by radical Islam. When public language gets edited for comfort, public understanding gets weaker, and that shows up fast in debates about Sharia law, constitutional freedom, and whether Americans still recognize the threats that target a free society. Then we pivot to some Good News Friday encouragement from the convention, including a powerful reminder of how stories shape courage. We share a standout moment from Speaker Mike Johnson about John Quincy Adams and the simple, stubborn virtue behind lasting reform: “Duty is ours, results are God’s.” We close with practical moral clarity for Christians who feel torn in elections, focusing less on personalities and more on principles and policies that either restrain evil or promote it. Subscribe for more biblical, historical, and constitutional perspective, share this with a friend who cares about truth and freedom, and leave a review that tells us what topic you want us to tackle next.Support the show

Never Forget With Real Context

George Washington’s Constitution is not just a museum piece, it’s a living reminder that words, edits, and ideas shaped a nation. After Constitution Day, we talk about a rare moment at the National Archives: seeing Washington’s own working copy of the US Constitution with handwritten annotations. It’s the kind of primary-source history that restores perspective fast and it also raises a harder question: why do so many major institutions still tell sloppy or ideological stories about the Founders? From there, we zoom out to election reality and why this midterm fight could be unusually consequential. We break down how statewide ballot initiatives are giving voters a direct say on issues many Americans view as basic common sense, including keeping men out of women’s sports and stopping irreversible “sex change” procedures for minors. We also highlight fresh polling that shows Democratic support for sex changes dropping sharply in a single year, and we explain why that shift could affect turnout, margins, and even which seats are truly competitive. We end with two pieces of good news that feel connected: courage in sports and accountability in schools. A growing wave of Christian athletes is praying publicly, naming Jesus without apology, and using social media to bypass gatekeepers, even when leagues and commentators push back. Meanwhile, Texas school choice is already moving tens of thousands of families and forcing long-protected public school systems to face competition, including tough conversations about debt, bonds, and priorities. If you care about faith and culture, biblical worldview, constitutional history, religious liberty, school choice, and real-world civic engagement, hit subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.Support the show

Midterms, Museums, And A Faith Revival In Sports

A year after losing Charlie Kirk, we stop and remember what made him more than a headline or a political organizer: a man who increasingly aimed at the heart. We play a powerful montage of Charlie speaking plainly about courage, sin, salvation, and why he believed a free society can’t last without faith in God. It’s an honest look at the spiritual shift he was making, and why his message keeps discipling people long after his passing. From there, we pivot into real-time Republican National Convention analysis and the mechanics of political messaging. We talk about how the night’s theme wasn’t scattered talking points, but a disciplined drumbeat: “radical” and “extreme,” backed by specific quotes, receipts, and candidates’ own words. We share standout convention clips, including Tim Scott’s rapid-fire contrast on security, voter ID, and taxes, plus Brandon Gill’s sharp argument for American heritage and why apologizing for it doesn’t win the culture. We also unpack the politics of personality versus policy, including Trump’s humor-heavy moments and a memorable Ken Paxton endorsement that lands on one point: outcomes matter. We close with a clear Christian civic takeaway: voting is stewardship, and we have a duty to show up, think strategically, and measure leaders by what their policies will do to freedom, faith, and the next generation. Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find conversations that take faith and culture seriously.Support the show

Charlie Kirk Shows Why A Free Society Needs God

The fastest way to lose a constitutional republic is to raise citizens who cannot explain what the Constitution says. That is the warning thread running through our conversation with David Barton as we share the opening segment of Constitution Alive, recorded around original documents and anchored in the places where America’s founding ideas were debated and framed. We dig into why history is not a hobby but a “training camp” for freedom, starting with George Mason’s call for a frequent return to fundamental principles. From there we lay out John Jay’s practical roadmap for civic responsibility: read the Constitution, study it, teach it, know your rights, recognize when they are violated, then defend and assert them. We also press into a hard reality: modern civic education often fails to produce informed, active citizens, leaving people unable to name the three branches or describe the judiciary, which makes rights easier to erode. Along the way, we tackle the claim that founding documents are too old to apply now, using a vivid comparison between timeless principles and hyper-specific ancient laws. We also challenge the idea that the Founders were a single class of elites by looking at the range of backgrounds, careers, education paths, and hardships that shaped the people who signed the Declaration and built the framework of American government. We close with Benjamin Rush’s bracing definition of patriotism as a moral virtue tied to responsibility for neighbors and future generations. If you want a clearer, more confident grasp of the Constitution, listen now, share this with a friend who cares about civic literacy, and subscribe so you do not miss the rest of the series. If the conversation helps, leave a review and tell us: what do you think is the biggest gap in how Americans learn the Constitution today?Support the show

Constitution Alive And The Original Intent That Keeps People Free

The Founders didn’t build America on vague feelings or distant myths. They built it on written principles, public commitments, and the kind of courage that looks a lot less glamorous when you realize it could cost you everything. We pick up part two of our Constitution Alive series by asking a blunt question: if you love your country, what do you owe your neighbors and the next generation? That leads into Benjamin Rush and the early American view of public education and civic virtue, including the original goals Rush laid out for forming citizens in a constitutional republic. We also wrestle with the modern fallout when a nation stops “spring training” on its own history and assumes it can self-govern without knowing the playbook. Then we take you to Independence Hall, the actual room where the Constitution was framed and where the Declaration’s bold words became real. Standing in that space brings the stakes into focus, especially when we revisit the signing, the silence, and the sobering truth behind “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.” From there, the story turns to wartime reality as Washington needs a spy and a young officer named Nathan Hale steps forward, reminding us that liberty has always required uncommon character. If you care about the U.S. Constitution, the Founding Fathers, American history, and the future of our constitutional republic, listen through and share it with someone who needs a reset on what citizenship means. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us what line of the Declaration or Constitution you think our culture most needs to recover.Support the show
