Becket explores the pernicious effects on society when the media, intentionally or unintentionally, attacks mothers and families. We see the results of these attacks all around us: homelessness, drug addiction, mental health issues, suicide ideation, and so on. Becket concludes that motherhood is the most wonderful vocation of all. It’s the most important work a person can do.
