Amazon Prime series, The Boys does feel like a breath of fresh air, even if it looks more like something from the bottom of a chum bucket. But it is oh so good!!! There is no way they would have got away with making something like this pre-streaming services.Check out the review for more.

Check out this review of AMCs TV series NOS4A2 before you binge.

The series NOS4A2 (pronounced 'Nosferatu') is based on the novel by Joe Hill, a.k.a. Joe Hillstrom King, son of Steven King. Rather than ride the old man’s coat tails he took on the alias so as to make his own way in the literary world. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree though, with Hill specialising in horror fiction, much like his dear old dad.

This reviewer hasn’t read any of his stuff but first impressions of NOS482 before raised questions about this show being a Stephen King knock off.

We've been waiting a while for Stranger Things 3 to hit our screens. Find out if it was worth the wait in this TV Review.

It’s been well over a year and a half since we binged the Stranger Things Season 2 and since then many pop-culture commentators and critics have heralded the end of the 80’s nostalgia trend.

And they are wrong!!!

According to the Netflix US Twitter account in less than a week since Stranger Things Season 3 launched on on July 4 over 40 million household accounts had viewed the series and just over 18 million already finished the entire season.

There’s a lot of problems with Stranger Things Season 3 but it is still a lot of fun and it’s abundantly clear that people haven't had their fill of the upside down.

It's a classic case of an American web-slinger in London for this movie review of Spider-Man Far From Home.

While our seats are still warm from the Endgame, Marvel have shoved us back into their cinematic universe with Spider-Man Far From Home. And, while this reviewer was prepared to skip it entirely, I found myself with nothing better to do sitting in a packed cinema on opening week, stuffing my fat face with popcorn and thoroughly enjoying this tidy little epilogue to one of the biggest cinematic events of all time.

Making their feature film debut, Australian Director Grant Sputore and writer Michael Lloyd Green set out to show what you can do with a well formed script, a small budget and a really solid cast.

The story was actually picked up from a thing called The Black List, which is compiled from an annual survey of Hollywood exec’s favourite, yet to be produced screenplays. Stories that usually come from groups largely underrepresented by the mainstream.

But not every Black List movie is destined to be a smash hit...

HBO's miniseries Chernobyl indeed has received high praise in reviews from critics and viewers alike, but this reviewer seems to have trouble pronouncing the name! 

I’ve often said that real horror is founded in real life, and if this story doesn’t prove that, well I don’t know what will.

On 26 April 1986, 3 kilometres outside the north Ukrainian City of Pripyat the number 4 nuclear reactor at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded, resulting in the most catastrophic nuclear disaster we have seen in our lifetime. It is the subject of what i easily HBO's greatest and most compelling series to come out in many, many years.

The prospect of Godzilla facing off against an entire rogues gallery in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters is enticing for anyone who is a fan of big things breaking stuff. Much like Kentucky Fried Chicken might be enticing to a fast food fanatic. In hindsight both also share a common enjoyment to regret ratio. 
It all looks good on the outside but it’s tasteless unsatisfying garbage on the inside.

I’m sure all comic book fans have entertained the question, 'what if Superman went bad?'.

There’s a moment within Superman’s story, where things could go have gone either way. When he discovers his powers for the first time, what if he comes to the revelation that human life is nothing and that his place is that of a conqueror and not a saviour?

Obviously the catalyst for keeping Supes on the strait and narrow is his good hometown upbringing thanks to Jonathan and Martha Kent. But, as they say, it takes a village and what if that village wasn’t somewhere the kid felt particularly welcome?

There was a couple of bitter pills people needed to swallow as soon as the remake of Hellboy was announced. The first one being that we’re not going to have Ron Perlman, an actor who was seemingly born to play this character, involved and #DavidHarbour would take on the role. The other being that this remake seems to have dashed any hope for seeing a third Hellboy movie to close out Guillermo Del Toro’s trilogy.

It feels like the #Hellboy2019 remake, was damned from the start. So what the hell happened and is it as bad as what everyone is saying?
