In these times when so little makes sense, why not tune into a podcast that pertains to nothing serious in the world at all and just think about Watson for a while, and those things somehow tied to him? (Which is about everything, really.)

Beaches full of good-looking women come up, but not how you would expect . . . or would you? . . . in a Doctor Watson podcast. Peter Capaldi's Watson, a brief chunk of a long John H. Watson Society meeting, Watson news, and . . . well, it's only twenty minutes, what more do you want? Jackals? Okay, jackals.

The title really says it all in this one, but there's also a bunch of Watson news, a shipwrecked couple, and the Canon's secret psychic all here as well. Enjoy!

It's long and it's live and there is a special guest we've been trying to get on the show for two years! (But he's very shy, so don't expect too much.) Bullpup Calder mixes the drink Watson invented, Bullpup Mopsy returns with Word of the Week, Bullpups Dawson and Maddie both do a Watson of the Week, and Bullpup Destiny joins in a game of Four Watsons. We're a couple of bullpups shy of a full house, and we had to miss a 221B Con panel to record it, but one hundred episodes!!!!

Someone was playing Sweet's "Fox on the Run" while uploading this episode, and you'll soon see why as we careen through a frozen sailors, pranks, convict-eating mammals, and inspire you to imagine a moustache-off between Royce Pierreson and Charles Prepolec, neither of whom appear in this episode. (What, you're expecting guests?) Yep, pretty much your average episode of the Watsonian Weekly!

For a podcast about Watson, you'd think we'd have a lot more content about the new Netflix Watson of the series "The Irregulars," but one of us was far too busy binging the thing to do much podcasting! But kill a dozen minutes with us anyway, just like every week.

We're one hand short this week, but we still get the scoop on body-less deer, what Watson is missing in Sherlock Holmes Year One, how long a makeshift mast lasts on the good ship Lady Emma, and that special place in Paddington where Watson was happy for a time.

Somebody is sneaking some Sherlock Holmes into this episode . . . or maybe another sibling for the fellow, but there's still that Watson data you crave. Have a medicinal brandy and join us, won't you?
