It is April 14th, 2023 and the Baltimore Ravens have made a HUGE splash signing for a WIDE RECEIVER! Super Bowl champion and former pro bowl star Odell Beckham Jr. has signed a one-year deal to come to Baltimore is arguably the most noteworthy thing to happen in Baltimore this past Sunday. Scoot and Dante give their thoughts on how this helps the team (obviously) and what this can potentially mean for the offense, as well as the impact it may have on the quarterback position and way Baltimore approaches the draft in a couple weeks. Transitioning from OBJ talk, the boys dip their toes in the water surrounding the impending NFL draft, focusing on the roster construction of the Ravens throughout this free agency and what that means for their draft board, particularly on night one. Scoot and Dante give their takes on who they would want, including guys like Zay Flowers, Deonte Banks, and Nolan Smith. Pivoting away from the NFL talk, Jon Rahm wins the 2023 Masters tournament and dons the iconic green jacket for the first time in his career. Shoutout to Dante for giving the people a +950 outright winner. The boys break down a great tournament that truly deserves the dubbing of a tradition unlike any other. Lastly, the boys had to fire off their takes on this O's team. Nobody in professional sports is having more fun than the birds in orange and black, and this was cemented by the birth and rapid rise to stardom of the "Homer Hose."

The best month of sports has concluded with UConn cutting down the nets yet again, their 5th title in 25 years, capping off a historic run in this year's men's NCAA tournament. On the women's side, Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers took down Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in an UNBELIEVABLE championship game. The Orioles had their opening day and series against the Boston Red Sox, in which they dropped 2 out of 3 games. Scoot and Dante dive into what they saw over the first series, where this team is strong, where they need to improve, and how the new rules implemented this season are inevitably going to play into the roster of the Baltimore Orioles. Also, Scoot provides us some much needed clarity on his pre-season predictions, including how the Boston series plays into his prognostication, and what the Orioles will be wearing during their three game home opening series against the New York Yankees. Following everyone's favorite sports tournament in March comes everyone's favorite sports tournament in April: The Masters. Scoot and Dante take a look at the field in the 87th Masters tournament and give their commentary on some of the tweaks to the course this year, how the weather will affect the players this weekend, potential PGA Tour/LIV beef, and who they can ultimately see putting on that famed green jacket come Sunday afternoon. And, as always, Dante wasn't going to let you get out of here without tossing some of his best bets for the weekend at the group. Lastly, the boys address a quiet week in Ravens fandom, headlined, really alone, by the confirmed offer submitted to Odell Beckham Jr. The boys talk about how they feel about this, how this will potentially help the team, and how, if at all, likely it is that they actually get the deal across the finish line and sign him. And they address the swirling video of all-pro corner Darius Slay stating he was "this close" to becoming a Raven.

The boys kick off the show with their favorite topic to discuss: Lamar Jackson's free agency and relationship with the Ravens. The MVP took to twitter this week to share a "letter to my fans" in which he said, amongst other things, that he requested a trade from the Ravens on March 2nd, just days before they placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on him. Scoot and Dante break down how they feel about it, how they think the Ravens are taking this, what this means for his "free agency," and ultimately how this can and will shake out for both sides. In other non-Lamar related news, Calais Campbell is officially gone as news broke early Wednesday that he will be signing with the Atlanta Falcons. Also, reports swirled Tuesday afternoon as free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. met with Ravens brass at the Biltmore hotel in Arizona during the league-wide meetings this week, and that the conversations allegedly went very well. Much to Scoot's pleasure, the rest of the conversation was entirely centered on the beginning of the MLB season. The Orioles begin their season in Boston this Thursday, as will much of the league, and the boys give their pre-season predictions for the playoffs and World Series, along with a very robust Orioles season breakdown from Scoot, and of course followed with some futures bets. Lastly, the boys wrap up the NCAA basketball tournament to this point, with the final four being set with some of the most unlikely teams.

Before diving into a LOADED slate of sports talk, Scoot gives us a rundown of his wonderful trip to the happiest place on earth. To start the show, the boys jump into, as Scoot so elegantly put it, the Thanksgiving of sporting events: March Madness opening weekend. The first weekend was filled with ~madness~ seeing 2 seed Arizona lose to Princeton, 1 seed Purdue go down at the hands of Fairleigh Dickinson, and 13 seed Furman beat Virginia by a buzzer beating three pointer. Dante gets into some games in the Sweet 16 that he has his eyes on, and even a look into how he's betting these games. NFL free agency is still going on albeit much calmer are the waters following the first wave last week. Still, some big name chips like Baker Mayfield and Adam Thielen have found new homes. And much to our dismay, the Ravens have not done ANYTHING. Lastly, the boys jump right on into the World Baseball Classic. It truly was an unforgettable tournament that was bookended by Shohei Ohtani striking out Mike Trout to win 3-2 and hoist Japan's third ever WBC trophy. NFL free agency has officially begun as the new league year has started, and teams have wasted no time to start making BIG splashes. The boys get into this week's show recapping the Ravens moves so far, some big free agent chips to fall, as well as some potential moves we could see in the coming days. Moving on from football, we get back into our World Baseball Classic talk on the heels of our friend Rochie joining us last episode. We're nearing the end of the group stage, and some teams have had expected success, while others have stumbled and triumphed much to our surprise. Next we dive into a little golf talk following world #1 ranked Scottie Scheffler's 5 stroke win at the Player's Championship this past weekend at TPC Sawgrass. With only four tournaments until we all make that stroll up Magnolia Lane, we talk about where we are with Golf today. Finally, Dante and Scoot end the show talking about the greatest sports tournament there has ever been: March Madness. Dante and Scoot both give their predictions on who they see cutting the nets, as well as some potential upsets and games to watch.

The boys kick off today's show with everyone's favorite topic of conversation: Lamar Jackson. The Ravens used the traditional non-exclusive tag on their QB, opening the door for a ton of possibilities, as well as certain disdain from their fans. Moving away from the Ravens, the first chips of NFL free agency have begun to fall with Derek Carr and, potentially, Aaron Rodgers finding new homes, and Daniel Jones remaining in New York. The boys unpack some of the new signees and franchise tags placed on players this week, as well as pending free agents and their best landing spots. Scoot and Dante briefly wrap up the NFL combine from last week that was largely dominated by, Scoot's guy, Anthony Richardson. To round out this week's show, Scoot and Dante bring back friend of the program Marc Roche to talk all things baseball. From the World Baseball Classic, to the MLB season, to Dante's favorite bets, to the Mariners winning the world series, the boys dive DEEP into baseball as we're underway in the WBC and only a few weeks away from first pitch. 

On this episode, the boys have to start, obviously, by addressing the absolute shit storm that was Ravens twitter from Thursday. Rashod Bateman led a charge on twitter involving numerous Ravens alumni who were burying Ravens staffers, mainly one Steve Saunders, but also drew national attention in response to Eric DeCosta's remarks about the receiver room. The boys dive into the state of the Ravens and what this means for the near future of this once great franchise. Moving on from Baltimore, the combine is going on in Indianapolis, and this class has some very interesting characters. Some stocks are on a rapid track to the top of the top 50 rankings, while others are drawing more question marks by the hour. Finally, Scoot and Dante wrap up the show by breaking down Netflix's Full Swing docuseries following some of the top Golfers in the world, and how it's reinvigorated their thirst for the sport. 

On this episode, much like everyone else with a microphone or camera in the world this week, the boys are talking about Lamar Jackson (again). Lamar and his impending contract/free agent situation has absolutely dominated the media this week, so Scoot and Dante give what will hopefully be their last diatribes into the saga of the former MVP and his current team. The boys also get a chance to dive into and give their thoughts on the introductory press conference of new Ravens OC Todd Monken. After a long tenure of Greg Roman and his dreadful system, signs point to a very different era of offense under Monken, however the massive caveat to that would be the quarterback position. To wrap up the football talk this week, Dante and Scoot take a look at some "big" name free agents and potential other franchise tagees as NFL free agency is coming up just around the corner. Before wrapping up the show, the boys have to talk some O's baseball hon. Pitcher and catchers are grindin, and full team workouts have begun. The season is almost here and we're PUMPED. The boys kick off episode 41 by recapping the Super Bowl between Philly and Kansas City. It was a great game that ultimately ended with the best player in football holding the Lombardi for a second time. They dive into how Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were able to overcome their obvious inequities against the Eagles, which really started with their offensive line keeping the Eagles' pass rush in check. Also, what would a Super Bowl breakdown be without an analysis of its halftime show? Rihanna absolutely killed it on the big stage, re-announcing to the world that she still has BANGERS, and did so while publicly confirming she's pregnant with her second child. Congrats Rihanna. Moving on from the big game, the Baltimore Ravens have brought in former Georgia OC Todd Monken for their vacant play caller role. Monken has some experience in the NFL as well as college, and brings a different scheme to Baltimore than what we're used to from recent history. Finally, and unfortunately, the episode is once again dominated by Lamar Jackson talk. There are rumors flying by the hour at this point, and none of them are looking good for Ravens fans. Team beat writer Jeff Zriebec mentioned on twitter that the holdup in their contract negotiations center largely around a fully guaranteed deal, which Lamar wants and the Ravens are seemingly unwilling to give. The boys discuss the situation, and ultimately, what the Ravens should do with the difficult scenario they've built for themselves. To wrap up the show, the boys discuss some golf that's happening this week, pitchers and catchers reporting, the terps getting a HUGE win over Purdue, and their shoutouts of the week. It's the week we've all been waiting for: SUPER BOWL WEEK! The boys jump right into the deep end and look ahead at the culmination of this NFL season. But first, a quick pitstop to check in on the Ravens offseason. The Offensive Coordinator search is still going, with guys like Dave Canales and Brian Angelichio getting second interviews, and Eric Bieniemy is still in play according to league sources. Marlon Humphrey is still doing recruiting out at the pro bowl, which ultimately sparked some more Lamar Jackson talk. Finally on the Ravens, some potential free agency targets to keep an eye out for. Moving into the Super Bowl, the boys examine the numbers of both teams' offenses and defenses, and see where each team may have an edge. To close out the show, Dante gives out a full card of Big Game props, followed by each of them dishing out their final prediction and who will take home the Lombardi trophy.
