In this episode, I chat with Brea Johnson, founder of Heart and Bones Yoga, about how the process of refinement can add depth and meaning to our lives.
“There is not a magical formula to find our own truth and wisdom. It’s a process of refinement.” - Brea Johnson
Brea chats about her journey as a yoga teacher and how she used her dissatisfaction as a catalyst to discover a path in yoga that balanced the heart of yoga with what she felt was missing - sustainable, accessible and supportive movement for every body.
I absolutely love Brea's thoughtful answers and I can not wait to share this episode with you!

“I think that [external] acceptance wasn’t the acceptance I was looking for, because part of myself was maybe hidden.”
Meredith opens up about some of the obstacles she worked through in order to show up in life as a more authentic version of herself and what it actually looked liked to go through this process. We also chat about the daily practices that have helped serve her in discovering her purpose and how she continues to commit to these practices.

In this episode, Kaihla and I chat about how she learned to trust herself, close a business that she had created over the past eleven years, and how she discovered the simplicity her soul was craving.
”A lot of it probably would’ve come down to just fear. What’s working? What’s not working? What would make money? Just logical-based questions and nothing was really guided internally.”
Kaihla discusses the intense physical and emotional pain she endured that sparked this journey. She also opens up about how she became ‘unrecognizable’ to herself after becoming a mother and how it felt to discover that her dream job wasn‘t providing the fulfillment she thought it would create.
We get into the nitty-gritty of the messy middle— the phase when Kaihla had to learn how to surrender and embrace the unknown. We also chat about what daily practices have helped serve her in discovering her purpose and how she continues to commit to these practices.

What to expect from this chit chat:
In this episode, we're talking with Jess about how she learned to begin choosing herself and how that meant leaving behind a toxic environment.
“Other people’s opinions about what I was doing was mattering more to me than my own opinion on what I was doing. Or my own feelings. Or my own wellbeing.”
Jessica opens up about how the process of choosing herself and her considering her wellbeing led to a life filled with love, joy and fulfillment. We get into the nitty-gritty of the messy middle— the phase when Jessica had to learn how to listen to her intuition and leave behind old belief systems. We also chat about what daily practices have helped serve her in discovering her purpose and how she continues to commit to these practices.

In this episode, we're talking with Ashley about how she transitioned out of an unfulfilling work environment, to blindly trusting her intuition which urged her to start an intimate portrait studio. Stemming from this place of inner trust, Ashley is living what she believes is her purpose and one of the highest contributions she can give to the world.
“If your values don’t align with the environment you’re working in currently, or the environment you spend lots of time in, you’ll never feel that complete contribution that you’re capable of making to society or to the world.”
Ashley lays everything bare and vulnerably takes us through her journey on how she realized external validation wasn't creating the depth she needed to feel joy and fulfillment. We get into the nitty-gritty of the messy middle— the phase where she was filled with doubt, anxiety, and the incessant worries of ‘what if’. We also chat about what daily practices have helped serve her in discovering her purpose and how she continues to commit to these practices.
Ashley is a true gem, and the self-discovery she experienced and continues to go through has instilled her with a stronger relationship to her self and she is now gifting this to others through her intimate portraiture.

In this episode, we're talking about how to transition from a 'grind' mentality to finding your flow!
From a young age Dr. Lutz had her life all mapped out, but while preparing for the application process to medical school, her dream took a downward turn.
“I planned my whole life out to do that so I think that’s why it was such a challenging time for me because it changed all expectations. It changed the entire picture I had for myself, and I had to go in and figure out what I needed to do next.”
Dr. Lutz takes us back into her journey on how she went from feeling lost to how she discovered her calling. We get into the nitty-gritty of the messy middle— the phase when we figure out who we are, what our truths and values are, and how to find our next step. We also chat about what daily practices have helped serve her in discovering her purpose and how she continues to commit to these practices.
