We, as the church, have no greater purpose or focus than this, to learn to live in the way of Jesus, within the context of the kingdom of God, bringing the gospel message to the world. The Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 is our standing order until he comes!

The Great Commission includes three key components: Evangelism, Discipleship, Consecrated Life (Christ-centered, With God Life) and so how do we as sending/supporting churches and missionaries in the field, work together to ensure we are obediently pursuing this?

A.T. Pierson, a Presbyterian Pastor and Missionary from the turn of the 20th century said, “If missions languish, it is because the whole life of godliness is feeble. The command to go everywhere and preach to everybody is not obeyed until the will is lost by self-surrender in the will of God. Living, praying, giving and going will always be found together.”

How can we live a Quiet and Peaceful Life in this Chaotic and Traumatic World? In all seriousness, it seems, on the surface, impossible. How can followers of Jesus in 2024, with devastating hurricanes, riotous politics, and international war ramping up, live like this? It is monkish sounding, right?
